Great day for the fall wheat plots today....heavy rain this morning and now sunny and warm.....I think I can hear the plots growing...lol

We are only 2 weeks from opening day here....after planting plots I put out some pie plates on a string to keep the deer and turkeys out until the seed got a good start.....think today I will pull the plates and get the cam out to see whats around.

Well its been a long old summer and I have been working a TON of shifts and now it is time for some time off....being low man on seniority in the control room (starting my 21st year) I don't get much summer off....so in 10 hours from now I have 2 weeks off...cant wait.... taking the family away for 3 days to a water park down past Joe's place (ranger Clay)....CHEERS everyone its party time...lol

hey don't get me wrong I shoot them all the time also around the farm.....all I said was I didn't think that what I saw on some of those videos was not what I call hunting or very sporting.....but again that's just me.

If you go to youtube and look up the group that calls them selves SHARK you will see some of the shoots they try to stop.....again I don't like Anties but I cant say I like to see birds shot like that.
