  1. Few questions................ I see you are affiliated with Epek Was this bow broadhead tuned with a fixed blade? Were all of these heads spin tested? I know alot of guys argue that broadhead tuning with fixed blades doesn't matter but I've made a believer of alot of guys when they come over and we do a little tweaking. I shoot my stingers out to 60 yards and they are on with my field points. I can shoot mechanicals and they shoot the same spot after i broadhead tune. It's all about planing. If the center shot is off then the head will plane.
  2. Actually the parts haven't came in but just filing it down has gave me 3 weekends of hunting so far.
  3. My question is to alot of you is are you stripping the old wax. If not you should be. I wax mine about once a week.
  4. I would have the Vin ran thru the police department.
  5. LOL...............We call that the Lazy Body Prostaff and I know a few that do it around here.
  6. Elk is a big big target..............even though alot of guys wouldn't I would shoot at one at 70 or 80 if I had pins that far.
  7. I know I'm not that old but that's kids these days. I'm only 28 fixing to be 28 but most of the guys I hang around with are 35 to 40 and I have wayyyyyyyyy more in common with them than most people my age
  8. It's gonna happen some. Can't help it. Ducks can still move pretty quick when wounded. Only cure is a dog. I on the other hand hunt open water and laugh all you want but I got a way of retrieving that works well. Fishing pole, treble hook, and a big weight.

  10. If your not afraid of some change checkout goldtip XT hunters. Cheap and they shoot extremely well. I've shot the same arrow thru 3 deer with any problems

    Potty Mouths

Like a sailor. It isn't bad at home around the kids or wife but gets worse when I'm at work about all my truckdrivers.

Nope..........to tell you the truth I love my old Primos Wench and Quackhead J frame
  14. Wish we had a local gunsmith. On the upside I tore it back down last night after looking the schematics over and found the problem. The forearm slide rail and the cartridge stop had at a bur on them and were catching instead of the stop going behind to release the shell. I took a superfine file to it and worked it out. Works like a charm now but I am going to go ahead and order the parts. A total of $31. Only reason I filed it was because the slide rail is on 30 day backorder.
  15. Work is crazy. Wife still in college and 3 kids. I'm sure I'll be limited. Planning on shooting some locally and probably make Paris. Would love to make it to the classic since it is closer this year. Don't know if that will work out though. Sure will be happy in a year when my wife graduates. Alot of things will be alot easier.
  16. It wasn't too bad buckee...........i duck hunted sat and sunday. Saturday was about 16 and a 30 mph wind. Sunday was 20 and about a 15 to 20 mph wind.
  17. Here is what I think the problem is................... Cartridge stop http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=161655 Or Cartridge interceptor http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=631606
  18. When cycling the gun it doesn't want to release a shell out of the magazine. I'm thinking maybe the 2 forks that hold the shell in the magazine need to be replaced. Anyone else had any experience with this? BTW-I'm cycling 2 3/4" and 3". I've tryed cycling it hard and tried cycling it easier and there is no consistant pattern to the sticking.
  19. Forums meet the new member to the family.............Mater. For those of you that have seen the movie cars you will get a kick out of that name. We picked him up Wednesday before christmas down in Krum. Super nice guy we bought him from and heck of a waterfowl hunter. Mater has a pretty good bloodline behind him and is already retreiving wings. Hoping by next year he will be chasing ducks. Long row to hoe but I think we will get there. Oh the reason we named him Mater is because of his darker color. They called him Red and my wife said Rusty. Jokingly I said how about Mater..........He's rusty colored. It stuck.
  20. We went out yesterday and got a mixed bag of 12...............
  21. Guys if you are trying to get the blood and game taste out soak it in your sink in baking soda and water for about 30 minutes.
  22. Wow, I surprised the ethics police haven't been in here to tell you that you should have been the bigger person. I know I've heard it a hundred times before on here. I don't blame you one bit..............at least you let her know she was #1 on your list.
  23. I've got a Stihl that was handed down to me. Saw is probably 15 to 20 years old and still runs like a champ
  24. Hey gator, Blood pressure has alot to do with vision. Might want to get it checked as well.
