  1. LOL yeah I'm ready. Nothing is changing from last year but I can't wait for opening day. I will be in my ole doe honey hole. Seems like every year i kill 1 or 2 in there the first week.
  2. If it is anything like the Switchback XT you should love it.
  3. What I like is I took all the weights off and then added til it felt like it held well. I ended up with 2 weights on the left and 1 on the right.
  4. I have ordered a couple bows that I didn't hold before I bought them............normally target bows but nonetheless. Don't worry about you fitting the bow..............make the bow fit you. I can shoot any bow with a little work.........Like mathews wood grips I hate. If I ordered one with that grip I would order a shrewd grip immediately
  5. Got a new stab for the bow. Doinker Dish..................Love the adjustability of being able to move the weight from side to side. http://www.doinker.com/products.html
  6. At the ranges here we have competition rounds and fun round. Fun round is obviously whatever you want to do. If you want to move around a litte and not shoot quiet from the stake them go ahead. Rangefinders allowed in Fun rounds as well. A range shouldn't be so dumb to rule out guys spending money they could be making. It could mean the difference in whether or not they can make their payment next year.

    New Job update

Good to hear man. Thats great.............
  9. I know of 3 personally from the local wal mart that the people left and down the road car started nocking...........Walmart mechanics forgot to tighten the drain plug and it fell out. One of them was that day and the other 2 were within 2 days of getting the oil changed.
  10. Every 4500 miles and the key word is "I" change the oil. I don't trust the idiots at wal mart or jiffy lube to do it for $6 an hour. I like to do my own becuase when I'm underneath the car i know what is going on with it. I don't all the sudden realize that an axle seal is leaking or a u joint going out. I religiously used Mobil 1 Clean 5K and a Fram extreme guard filter. Truck has almost 240,000 on it and runs like a top. Old truck I did every 3k and used the regular fram/ Pennz and it made it almost 300,000 before the motor went.

  12. Not bashing here but check AT on the Destroyers. Some guys having them come unstrung at full draw. Tons of good bows out there. Might check some other shops too. Alot of Mathews guys are going to the Hoyt Maxxis this year. It is a sweet bow.
  13. Actually you can't find a IBO course around here. Everything is ASA. I just wanted wanted a baseline to see where I was at. 310 is IBO......I'm not planning on shooting that light. I also shot a 385 grain Pro 22 that shot 276. So I'm thinking I will need to be right in the 360 grain to 370 grain area.
  14. Jame told me that Vantage pro was faster than Hoyt gives it credit. Ummmmmm I would say yeah.......... Vantage Pro 61.7 lbs 28" draw 310 grain Pro 22 Shot 303..........3 times back to back Pretty dang good for a bow that's supposed to be a 308 IBO and has a 7 3/4 brace height. :jaw:
  15. Mathews Apex 7...........Black riser Camo Limbs 28.5" cam/ 60 LB with Mathews suppressors Limbsavers installed Comes with a set of Sixx Strings Black/Neon green that are brand new. it has winners choice on it now. Bare Bow Accessories will not be included $500 plus 4.3% if using paypal. Will also take Postal Money Order
  16. Alot of factors here........if your new site is longer or shorter than your old one then your pin gaps will be different. Everyone's setups are a little different so what works for me might not for you. Best thing to do is find a place you can back it up and shoot.
  17. Yeah mine won't be getting traded anytime soon. It's paid for and I got a 13 year old that will probably end up with it.
  18. They are a pain in the butt to work on. Tore down the wifes 2003 Gen I Dodge duranogo this weekend. New: Tie Rods Upper Ball Joints Lower Ball Joints Hub on the drivers side.............which dodge now sells sealed hubs so you can't replace wheel bearings. Thats a whole different can of worms I don't wanna open up. Instead of being a $20 wheel bearing you have to pay $120 for the hub..........if it would have had 4 wheel abs it would have been $250 I don't understand dodges thinking. The only thing blocking stuff from getting in the hub splines is the dust sheild and sealed bearing. We fought that spindle for a long time and dang near broke the proto puller trying to get it out of the hub............then we had to fight the hub to get it out of the spindle........
  19. You might cry when you find out how much it is worth. Most times unless it is a hoyt, mathews, or bowtech you can't get much back out of it. Would make a great backup bow.
  20. Better not hang out in here long............seems if you do you will have mulitple bows.
