This week its falling off and I don't know why........Weird when you break a plateau how it just starts to fall. This morning was 197..........I've been at 200 to 203 for a couple months and in the last week and half its dropped 3 lbs

Muggs 2 problems here. #1 is safety. If the arrow splinters you may end up with carbon in your hand when u shoot them. #2 is squaring the cut. If the face isn't square the arrows will never shoot straight. I actually have my own saw at home as well as using a G5 ASD after cutting them. A lot of guys get away with using a chop saw.

Kyle I still weigh in normally daily but its as soon as I wake up in the morning. Normally I fluctuate about 3 lbs from morning to night. I started last march at 280.........today I'm 199 and can jog 3 miles. Can't tell you guys what a change it's made in my life. Im not ever going back to the back pain, worn out, and feeling like crap all the time. Keep it up guys it will come off and you will feel better than what you ever thought you would.

Makes no sense..........Greenwing teal were in by the tons yesterday. They should be way south by now. Very few mallards or pintails. I ended up with 2 greenwings, 1 gadwall, and 1 shoveler. I don't feel too bad though.................There was 4 of us and I was the only one that killed any.

Saturday wasn't great but we got 13............No mallards and a bunch of scaup but the dogs need to see quantites of birds on the water. We shot what came in.:gun1:

We are heading to cromwell this weekend. Hope to get on some ducks and geese. When that front rolled in Saturday morning the birds went south. I've talked to a bunch of guys that were burning them last week and when saturday hit the birds disappeared.

We have shot some Kents too Todd. I can get the Winchester HV's for $9.84 a box in 3" #4's though.........

I checked one of my old holes yesterday evening..........low and behold the ducks are there. Past 2 years they haven't been. We aren't seeing hardly any greenheads but tons of Gadwalls with a few shovelers, scaup, and woodies mixed in. Limited out with 6 duck limits last night and this morning within 45 minutes both times. Going back with my crew, 2 dogs, and wife tomorrow. It should be a blast. I've done all the scouting now it's time to pay off. Mater has retrieved all but 2. One of them fell in a thicket and the other fell literally in my lap..........it sprayed me with water when it hit a foot away.

I'm hoping the same Todd...........Its been the same here. The holes we normally do good at over the years are blanks this year. Dogs haven't got to work much. We've only had one really good hunt. We sat a roost hole for wood ducks and at 30 minutes left of light ducks came out of everywhere.

Mater picked up on his 1st duck. He tried a goose at the lease and wasn't quite ready for it. I did keep a bunch of wings from last year and have been tying them on with twine to his dummies. I also filled them with duck scent. Keep it up guys they will get it.

My buddy and I are both training dogs this year. We sat a roost hole for Wood ducks Sunday evening. Ended up with 7 total between 3 of us. They kept flairing but the dogs did well. We had a few hiccups and I expect alot more but I'm very happy with the progress they are making.

The Primos Hardcore blind isn't bad if you want a all in one pack either. It flips around to carry decoys like a backpack.
