  1. SOLD camera is sold. thanks to all who inquired.
  2. I did find a 4MB memory stick I'll throw in there too. PM me if you are interested in this great deal on a quality video camera!
  3. beautiful grouse pics! unfortunately, it seems like they are disappearing here in ohio.
  4. I'm just praying hard that McCain gets elected...that and I don't want to even think about the 500% tax increase Barack wants to put on guns and ammo. That will put outdoor sports in a major freeze.
  5. Good shooting Rem308! Gator...can't believe you have to deal with all that crap. That's terrible when guys stoop so low to rip you off...we should be brothers in the field whether we know each other or not!
  6. I got a chance to scout a new piece of land tonight which I got permission to hunt from a guy at my church. It's only 11 acres, but it was heavy with trials, some nice rubs, and one scrape that I found. He sees deer all the time from his back window where his wife has a salt block out for them. Hopefully I can slip back into the woods one night next week and get set up on them. Best of luck to the rest of the team!
  7. back to the top... this is a great camera for someone wanting to get started on filming hunts!
  8. I have some of the enduraskin from Bass Pro. It seems to be a good warm/cool weather material. Mine is not designed for real cold weather though. It's works well for me.
  9. Does anyone know if Rage Slipcam has any warnings posted against shooting through the mesh window of a blind? I assume it would prematurely deploy the broadhead...any personal experiences with that?
  10. Kee Kees usually work great for me. Especially with hens and younger birds. I've even attracted some gobblers in with it. Though sometimes they don't stay interested too long once they see that no 'turkey' is around. They don't just wait around for the stranger to show up like they can in the spring. But if you see the direction they're heading, you maybe can get around in front of them again and try coaxing them in with a few deep gobbler yelps.
  11. $50.00....for a $400.00 camera (see info above)! Anyone interested in this bargain? I'd like to see someone else using this camera! PM me.
  12. Geesh! I didn't even know teams were together... I forgot about the contest starting. Looks like we have a good team. I'm Josh and I live in Central Ohio...I hope to get another good buck down this year during bow season. I look forward to sharing more with you in the days to come!
  13. Still For Sale Buyer did not send payment...the camcorder is available to whoever would like to purchase it. PM me if you are interested.
  14. Changing the price to $80.00, if anyone is interested. I'm not using it and would like for someone else to benefit from this.
  15. For sale is the original trail camera system from CamTrakker. I don’t know too much about them other than this unit has been good in the past. The camera was a birthday gift. (Since I upgraded to digital a few years back it hasn’t been out in the woods.) I had nothing to complain about the way it worked though…always got good pics out of it. This unit regularly sells at $399.00! but I will sell for only $100.00, shipped to your door. CamTrakker is a fully automatic 35mm camera combined with a passive infrared motion detector that senses heat-in-motion within a conical area. You attach the fully enclosed, weatherproof unit to a tree and CamTrakker will quietly take photos of deer (and other game) as they walk by and trigger the sensor. Here is the CamTrakker info link if you need to know more: http://camtrakker.com/original-trailcamera.aspx The only difference I see in my camera versus the new one listed on their site is the external on/off switch and the brand of camera. I did see on their website that they offer upgrades on the model I currently have too. Looks to be a great starter camera for someone getting into photo scouting. PM me if you are interested. Thanks.
