Re: Primos Jelly Head choke I guess I'm just lucky.Both my chokes perform well.The H.S underaker is slightly better for hevi and the Jelly is a little better with copperplated Win.I am going to shoot a few more on a no wind day.

I bought a Primos Jelly Head for my nova.I shot it yesterday in some pretty strong wind.I started off at 30 yrds with RemHevi #5 and 6 31/2 inch and Win #6 31/2.All shells had a devastating pattern.I moved it back to 4o yards and put 20 to 25 in the kill zone with all shells.Just for fun I moved it back to 50 yards and put 17 in the zone with Rem Hevi #6.The only real difference other than visual impact was the Win mind boogling recoil.The choke is .655.The wind really moves a pattern around more thanyou think.

Re: How far would you shoot? I can kill a bird clean stone cold dead at 50 yards.The last thing that I want is a wounded bird.I pattern my gun every season even though I know what it is going to do.

Re: PSE compound bow 4sale The weight is from 50 to 70 lbs.The draw is like 27 to 31.It is 29 right now.It also has Limbsavers and a peep sight.It is a single cam.

I have decided to sell my bow.It is a PSE Phantom pro series.36 inch axle to axle.Set at 70 lbs 80% letoff.It has a Quality Archery Ultra Rest,Toxonics 5 pin sight with a vibation dampner,Trophy Ridge Xchanger stabilizer,Custom string with loop,bat wings and strap.I also have Scott mongoose release.I took 1 deer this year with this bow and 30 yards clean pass through.I can hit a 1 inch spot at 25 yrds.This bow is in excellent shape all brand new stuff.It was set up at Solo Arcery in Albany GA.I'm not going to give it away serious inquiries only.Send a pm and make offer.

Re: HiViz TriViz Turkey Sight I use a Tri -Viz for a bead sight.The only reason I got them is because they were reduced 2 packs for 5 dollars.I like them.

Re: Help me buy a new shotgun........ If ya want a pump,look at a Benelli Nova.The Stoeger is turning out to be a good one also.The 935 Mossberg is also a good choice.

Re: H.S. Strut Black Magic Slate Call. Undertaker... I shoot the undertaker in my Nova.It shoots Hevi-shot and Win very well.My brother inlaw just put 1 in his 835 Moss and it did very well.I just ordered a Primos Jelly Head for my Nova to see what it does.

The company that makes hevishot decided that they were going to market there own shell's.I just drove 30 miles for the last of the Remington brand left in the area.The is no Hevishot dealer close to me.So if ya shoot the Remington brand you better go get as much as you can afford.I'm ready for the next 2 or 3 seasons.

What is better an early or late spring?Does the breeding cycle depend on the lenght of the day?

Re: Need help on deciding which mouth calls to buy. If you are beginner try to get single reeds or double.They are easiest to use.I still use a double reed call that I learned with.Once you get it down then move to the Vcut and multi reed calls.I like H.S strut calls.I use several different brands and style's.

They cut some wood up the road from my property and the turkey's came to me.I just keep them encouraged not to leave.If they just thinned them I don't think it will bother them.They may even like it better.

Re: WHAT DO YOU ALL DO IN THE OFF SEASON?? I'm getting ready for my favorite TURKEY SEASON.I practice at least 24 shots aday.I'm going to try to kill a Tom with my bow.I've been shooting alot of crows also.

Re: Favorite type of fletch 4 inch duravanes.They just seem to last longer if they are glued to the shaft properly.
