Re: 22.250 I have a friend that shoots a Rem 700 22-250.He shoot a 55 grain bullet.He has never lost a deer.He has a wall full of big bucks he has taken over the years.

The 700 is one of the most accurate out of the box rifle's ever made.

Re: Do you use a light for your sight? I have a Toxonics that had a light.When I turned it on in low light it seemed to make a halo around my sights.I was almost to bright.

Re: HEVI 13 broke the record The hevishot seems to like a little more of a open choke.I'm using a undertaker and getting good results.I'm thinking about trying a higher dollar choke to see if there is a difference.

Well we finally got a little rain.This should really get the rut action going.The deer have been a little nervous because tthey could not smell.I have been watching a group of doe but could not get to them stalking bcause of noise.I should be able to nail one after lunch tomorrow.

Re: how to make deer un nocturnal? Try a scent dripper that only works during the day.Do a deer drive with some friends.Last but not least rely on a hot doe.

I watched a show last weekend where a guy used a drag rag enroute to his stand.While in the tree 2 doe came by and crossed his path.Later on a large buck came trailing the doe's.When he crossed the code blue trail he stopped and trailed that insted of the live deer.The hunter took him at about 20yards.

Re: HEVI 13 broke the record The regular Remington Hevishot shells are around 21 dollars a box.I haven't seen any of the other yet.I would not use it for duck or goose where you have mutiple shot's and use alot.I only use it for turkey's.Our limit is 3 tom's so a box will last awhile.

I just got off the Hevi shot website.Nwtf just had a still target shoot.Hevishot won every event and broke 5 world records.I gotta get me some!!!
