  1. Already got my phone call in for tickets! We'll see how well knowing someone with some pull comes through. Wish me luck!
  2. Anyone use the pendulum sight by Trophy Ridge? Just curious what you have to say, good or bad, about it. I was looking at one at Cabela's today but wasn't sure I should spend the money on it or not. So, I thought, what better place to find out about it than here. You guys are all filled with lots of knowledge.
  3. Because it isn't allowed in the rule book to spot the opposing team points, GB let them get the first 14 points. After that it was game on! I've got to say, I was about ready to change the channel after the first four minutes. Glad I didn't. It turned out to be a great game!
  4. I didn't see the game. I was kinda surprised to hear that SD won. Good luck to them at NE.
  5. I would much rather the Packers play the Giants at home than go back to Dallas. Less than 4 minutes to go and NY has the lead!!
  6. Sorry to hear about your family loss. I know how hard something like that is. You will always have the memories!
  7. For you Wisconsin and Northern Illinois guys, the Sportsmans Warehouse in West Bend is closing. I was there today and they have everything marked down. It was 20% today. I think they are closing the doors for good the first part of February. If you are looking for anything, nows the time to check them out. I imagine the % off will be getting higher the closer they are to closing for good. My guess is Cabela's down the road put the hurt on them big time and that's why they are shutting down. Just thought I'd give you a heads up if you were interested. If you need directions, pm me and I'll set you up.
  8. M&M's. Put a bag of any kind in front of me and I'm good until the bag is empty!
  9. Batteries Plus if you have one near you. They pretty much have or can get a battery for anything.
  10. I asked my brother, who's a plumber, and he said when it happens to him he just tells the boss he needs a new shirt.
  11. That's just rotten! Funny though!:D
  12. Randy, if you need a place, I'm looking for a roommate to share my garage with. Kinda lonely out here talking to myself.:D
  13. I'll gladly switch with you. When you are done calling everyone and have the picks completed, I'll gladly switch back. Switching spots on the seniority list wouldn't help. I still can't get the week of gun hunting off. By the way, I'll be contacting you again within the next week for days. I keep telling myself "I love my job" but I haven't convinced myself yet.:D
  14. Somehow, I feel that I've dealt with the same trash as you. Keep plugging away and maybe you'll catch me on the seniority list.
  15. Well guys, the WI season is finished. I had several chances at bucks but they didn't cooperate. I was able to shot a doe with the gun. Bad news is...my pictures didn't turn out. I really need to make sure I pack my digital camera when I go. Sorry. No points from me.
  16. They keep getting better.:D
  17. I really liked the first one and want to see the new one. I may just wait until it's on Pay-per-View as it is cheaper than going to the theater (tickets/popcorn/soda/candy/etc.) You can call me "cheap". I won't be offended.
  18. It's been 45-50 with rain and fog here in WI the past couple days as well. Kind of weird having thunder/lightning/tornados in January. As far as I'm concerned, winter doesn't need to return.
  19. With all the rain we've gotten the past couple days and the fact the snow isn't nearly as deep, this weekend might be a good time to get out and do some looking. Good luck!
  20. The neighbor by the land I hunt said he's found several already. I walked the property from one end to the other last weekend and didn't find anything.
  21. Contact a conservation warden and they can set you up with someone to get you certified. I've been a certified Hunter Safety as well as a Bowhunter Safety Instructor for several years now. It gives you a good feeling knowing you are setting people (kids and adults) on the right path. Good luck to you.
  22. Push the power button on the front of the receiver and hold it in until it shuts off. The receiver will shut off and come back on a short time later by itself. It will then do the sat. search and download the program guide. See if it works after that. Good luck!
  23. Everyone pretty much covered it. If you ever have problems again: Push the power button on the receiver and hold it until the receiver shuts off and it will reset. (this will usually be all you need to do) Pull the card and reinsert it. Unplug the receiver. Get a ladder and broom and brush off the snow from the dish. (I just had to do this. I lost sat. 119. Got rid of the snow and it works as good as new.) The last time I had problems, I called and they accessed my receiver over the phone and fixed whatever the problem was while I was on the phone with them. You must have had someone who didn't want to do their job when you called.
