Congrats on a great buck! I had a shot at a nice doe up in Wisconsin this weekend but decided to hold off due to timing.I also heard a couple bucks fighting or sparing pretty heavy in the thicket with grunting and breaking branches right after that doe came out and had one run out, didn't have a shot but he was a small 4 point . I have it on film so I will see if I can post it, I'll be back up there in 2 weeks but I will be out here in IL til then. Good luck everyone.

I am a Ford tech and I was skeptical at first but we haven't had one in the shop or complaint since they have been out.

Hey team , no luck so far ,I seen a big ten following a bean field both days so i put up a stand where I might have a shot and hopefully he comes by the next 2 days. Here's a young doe that came by me, which met up with a button buck one evening.

Hey team, hunted Wi last weekend and past on a couple doe's with fawns, didn't see no big bucks. I will be in the stand in the morning here in IL , not expecting much movement with a west wind, but it will be good to be in the stand. Good luck everyone

8 pt , the last day of first gun season I decided to sleep in, go figure. :bang: Perfect 30 yard shot.

Hey team, congrats everyone on there harvest way to go, i'm still after a couple of bucks here in IL . There is a huge 13 pt. I have seen 3 times but never gave a shot and an 8 pt. and 9 pt I have tons of pics of and never managed to be in the stand when they come by. Good luck to everyone still hunting. Only have a few more weeks left here. Here is a couple pics of two, none of the 13 so far.

I've been shooting the spitfire's since 2003 been thru 3 diff. bows, Bear Whitetail, Golden eagle, and now Bowtech and had pass thru's on every one. I went from aluminum arrows to carbon Never have I had an issue with these broad heads .

I think the rut came early this year, when I was up north in the second week of Oct. I seen bigger bucks chasing Doe's hard late in the morning which I have never seen that time of year, and here in IL , they have been killing alot of big bucks since the 2nd week of Oct. which normally does'nt happen to this time of year. Last weekend I seen a giant with a doe in the middle of a corn field on lock down for over 3 hours, which is what is probably going on up there. I know the deer were in rut here 2 weeks ago when I shot my buck, I hope things pick up for you.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]12812[/ATTACH]Hey team, took this guy last night. I seen a giant in the morning , came 25 yds. but never gave me a clean shot.The bucks are really chasin the does hard. I had planned on hunting the morning and evening but ended up staying out all day after seeing all the rut activity going on. I didn't think I would see much with the full moon but the rut is definitely on. Hope to upgrade this weekend but at least I finally have some meat . He's A 9pt with a split brow tine . I will get him on the board as soon as get a pic of the tag. Good luck everyone

Heading out in the morning , should be good with the winds. Can't wait to pull the pics out of the camera not sure what made it from last year, first year in a long time I did not go shed hunting, put camera's out or scout out my stands. Good luck everyone!

QAD Ultra Rest also , 3 years and hundreds of arrows shot with no problems.

If it is glass try spraying some carburetor cleaner on a rag and try rubbing it off ,that usually gets everything off.

Hey team, no luck for the IL opener . I seen couple nice 8 pts and an absolute giant 12 pt that was at 30 yds but never gave me a good shot, this deer was atleast in the 190's , had my heart pounding. I was surrounded by doe's when this buck showed up , I thought it was odd for a buck this old to be with all these doe's this early. I set out a trail cam so hopefully I can atleast get a pic of this deer, don't think I will get it that close again or even see this deer but who knows.

No luck, seen a nice tall 10 pt. coming straight for me and busted me at 50 yds. The wind was all over the place. I had a shot at a couple of doe's and a small 8 pt. , it sure felt like November in the morning with that heavy frost. I will be hunting the IL opener on Monday and next weekend also then back up north for a few days, hopefully the leaves have dropped by then.

Hey team, I will be heading up north tomorrow night for a Sun. and Mon. hunt. The temps. are going to be great , I hope the winds cooperate. I didn't put any camera's out this year so I have no idea what I might see, but I will put a couple out when I get there because the suspense is killing me. In the past years I passed alot of nice bucks waiting for that big one on the camera and ended up with nothing. I figured this year I would go in blindly and take the first decent buck I had a shot at since I don't get up there as often as I like . Good luck to everyone
