  2. Here is a couple from me. -- Flat-liners -- Antler Junkies -- Rattlers -- Horn Bangers -- Rut Crashers
  3. Hello team, Wayne here. I live in IL but I also have a place up in Wisconsin that i will be hunting next weekend, finally!!! I will also be hunting here in IL starting in October . I passed alot of nice bucks last year hoping to get one of the big guys, and at the end only harvested a doe, this year I may not be as picky given the opportunity. Anyone think of some team names yet?
  4. Try some Fly Bait and a can of Coke in a bowl , they will be layin 10 feet from it .
  5. I deal with that every year:angry: I'm not sure where you put your camera, but I put my camera on a tree, so I bought some ant killer and spread it around thick at the base of the tree. Make sure its the granular type, one dose should last the season. It does have a faint odor but doesn't spook the deer at all.
  6. Here is a link that replied to a post a while back, I have Jack Russell Terriers but I'm sure this would work with your dog. I don't really call them antler dogs but once i show them an antler they are instantly on the prowl. Good luck. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81200

    Doggy help

I second that, I have 4 Jacks and they are a blast. They each have their own personality and if a dog can be taught to do something , these dogs will learn it fast. They are good hunting dogs and are great for shed hunting. they will definitely keep your kids busy and they love water too.I can't really say anything bad about them except they cost me an arm and leg to board them when i go on vacation:)
  8. Here is a good cam for the money, i have a friend that has two of them and they take really good pics but stop working when the temp. gets into the teens. You will also get a warranty and excellent cust. service. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/timberview-13mp-digital-game-scouting-camera.aspx?a=503618

  10. Hey team, I just got back from hunting the last season up in Wisconsin and scored on a bearded hen. I hunted the last 3 seasons and could not connect on a big Tom, they were either in the thick stuff or henned up. I had no luck here in Illinois with the same problem. I was happy to take this bird though, i have had a few pics of it but never seen it while hunting. It sure is a trophy to me, good luck to everyone still hunting and congrats to all that have harvested their bird. 14.8 lbs 9 1/8" beard

    thieves

Sorry to hear that, i was also a victim. Another good reason to invest in some game cameras in some inconspicuous spots, even thought of investing in the ones that email you the pics just in case they find it, you can still get some pics of the low life's.
  17. Yes, I think that there are two different hens w/beards that I have pics of but i'm not sure. Here is a better pic of her.
  18. Here are some pics I pulled off one of my cameras up in Wisconsin. I don't get up there as much as I like too, but its promising this season too see these birds using this food plot:) Kiss my .... The bearded hen and the Tom, the hit list.
