  1. It's specifically made for the size of the nozzle on the pump , there are two buttons on the sides of the filler neck opening when the nozzle goes in the buttons are simultaneously pressed and releases the flap and allows the fuel to enter. Anything smaller or larger will not allow the flap to open. The vehicle also comes with a special adapter that goes in the filler neck to accommodate the various size nozzles on gas cans in case you run out of gas.
  2. Just curious what you guys think this buck will score. My buddy is going to come over and score it in 2 weeks ,but the curiosity is getting the best of me . Thanks
  3. I am a tech. at a ford dealer and I am not sure why the change , but I think its a good thing. They have been using this design for over a year now and we have not had any problems at my dealer, yet. We constantly are getting people in with a ck engine light on and it leads to people not tightening their gas cap or not putting it on at all. This eliminates that totally, not to mention its almost impossible for someone to dump something down your filler neck. Less problems with a vehicle = a happy customer.
  4. Hey team, luck was on my side this morning. I took a nice 10 pt. around 11 a.m.,I did not see a thing til about 10:15 and 6 doe's came walking down the creek and turned and went the other way. I figured I would wait til they were clear out of sight before i got out of the stand so not to spook them then this guy showed up about 20 min. to 11 . I watched him feed my way on honey locust pods until he gave me a good clear shot. Shot him at 25 yds. he ran 30 yds.and went down .Thankfully all my regrets on not taking some of the other ones i past up are off my back.
  5. Hey team congrats to everyone on their deer some nice bucks. I just posted one of the doe's i took so far this season. 6. I have been using the Cabelas Still Hunters for the last 3 years and could not be happier . I hunt in in single digit weather and these boots are the great. They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet warm. I suggest getting 1 size larger for a wool sock and sock liner and your good to go. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Footwear/Mens-Footwear/Mens-Hunting-Boots/Mens-Insulated-Hunting-Boots%7C/pc/104797980/c/104747580/sc/104826780/i/104841180/Cabelas-Still-Hunter8482-1400-Pac-Boots/749785.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Ffootwear-mens-footwear-mens-hunting-boots-mens-insulated-hunting-boots%2F_%2FN-1102846%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104841180

  9. Hey team, I hunted Sunday and Monday morning but no luck. Day 1 I arrive to my stand and smell something terrible in the area, well after the hunt i get out and look for whatever is dead and find a nice 1.5 yr old 8 pt 20 yds from my stand in the brush . Looks to be dead a while all left was legs and head. Not sure how it died I am hoping yotes or something natural and not poached. Knowing that's why I probably did not see any deer I took the rack and let the snappers finish off the rest in the creek. Day 2 finally seen a couple doe's and a button buck then right before my hunt was over someone came for a quick bite to eat but missed her reservation. I don't think this one killed the deer it only had 6 teeth in it's mouth , 1 and half canines and the rest molars, weighed 38 lbs.
  10. Hey team, congrats CT on your doe. I passed up 2 doe's w/fawns last week up in WI, just didn't have the heart to take mommy this early. I will be heading out tomorrow morn. here in IL . Ive been seeing some nice deer , supposed to be windy ,but in the 30's so who knows. Good luck to everyone.

  14. Hey team, no luck here in IL , was always in the wrong spot, I had a couple of shots at some nice toms up in WI, but passed them up no thanks to my game camera. I had some pics of some huge birds that i held out for since i only had one tag but ended up with nothing. I will be heading up to WI tomorrow after work for the last day of the season, hopefully I can be lucky enough to put a tag on one. Congrats to everyone and good luck to those still hunting.
  15. For sure!! Weve been smoking from a 50's style fridge converted to a smoker for over 30 years. Ever since i can remember we would go spearing carp in the creeks and smoke them the next day using cherry wood , nothing like it!
  16. I will be huntin here in IL this weekend and up in WI next week and then again in 2 more weeks . Took these pics the weekend , hope he is still around next week. the 3rd pic was 2 feet from the front deck the others are right out in the front yard. Is it legal to hunt from your house window LOL!!!
