Re: Summit stands behind their treestands Glad to hear your alright!! I have a Summit Viper and one of the cable latches bent.I e-mailed Summit and 4 days later had 4 new cable latches-free of charge.

Re: Pa archery kill 10/19?05 P&Y the deer must score 125" for the national book,but for Pa's state record book it only has to score 115". I think if you get an offical Pa scorer they will send the paper work in to the Game Commisson to add it to the books.The record book hasn't been updated since 2000.If it ever gets updated my 121" buck will be entered. Re: Thunderheads vs others I shoot 125 thunderheads and love them,no trouble with planing.They shoot the same as my fieldpoints.I went though alot of other different broadheads before I found the thunderheads and see no reason to change. I've got 2 deer already this year using them.

Re: Rut Junkies Congrats on the doe Slaw!! I knocked off a small doe this morning. Billygoat-it happens to all of us sooner or later.It almost happened to me this morning,I'm still not sure what happened. I shot my doe at maybe 12yds.and thought I made a good shot.The arrow entered where I wanted and looked like a double lunger.I continued hunting for about another hour then figured I better find my deer. When I got down there was very little blood and after about 100yds. I walk up on my deer still alive.It was thick,but I still should have been able to put another arrow in her.I missed!! She was hurting bad,but still took off running.I gave the area she went a good looking and never found blood or jumped her again. I went back to where I jumped her and must have walked past her the first time.I spotted her bedded a second time and finished her this time.

Re: Sheds off harvested bucks? My bow kill last year I found one shed off the same buck the Spring before.I wish I'd have found the other side too.Would have been nice to see what the 5" kicker off the g-2 looked like the year before I took him.

I'm Steve,46 from Cascade Md.My season will take me right to the end of Jan.I'll be hunting Md,Pa, and W.V. I could have really helped the team out last year with my bow kill.Maybe lightning will strike twice.
