  1. Your a good man NSWhitetails. Thats very kind of you. Cute boy;)
  2. Need to go to the top of the page and go to the user CP. From there you can fill out your profile and a avatar. That stuff gets tricky with re sizing pics ect.
  3. I was out on a mission this morning taking pics as I went out for bagels. It is currently 18 degrees with the wind chill about balmy 5. We are very rich in Revolutionary war history here. This what Gen Washington would see today...A nuke. Indian Pt. Our backyard...40 miles from NYC. The stocked by the state(browns and rainbows) crick:D is a tributary to the Hudson River. Last but not least, the MOST significant thing in my life. My family.
  4. Good Luck Ruth with whatever position you get. I see Heath Director in your future:). Any idea what camp you might work at?
  5. I don't know if this is old news for you, but this was in our local paper a few days ago and I thought it might be of interest. These are in waters close to NYC and the surrounding harbors and bays. Buck lobsters only...no does:D...for now. http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008812240354
  6. Drop 10-15 lbs and exercise more often.
  7. Thanks Joe...Happy new Year to you and you family also.
  8. Such beautiful surroundings you have there Ken. You kind of put me on a mission now that NYC got beat up so bad. My area is rich with Revolutionary war history. I'll get some pics.

I see I ain't the only one. Be safe everyone and Happy New Year.
  10. Happy Birthday Mrs! Hope its a great one.
  11. Good Luck with the ML'er:) I've heard good things about the Remingtons. I too, did not have good experiences with Shockeys Gold FFG, which is basically the same as APP without Shockey getting a piece. Inconsistent velocities and accuracy out of my T/C. I went back to Pyrodex FFG. Let us know how it works for you. 80 grains of powder with what size bullet?
  12. I'm on often...waiting to go back to work killin' time. Trying to find the motivation to get out there and hunt some coyotes, with the temps in the teens, it is not enticing. I do have to dye my new traps and get going with that. We are looking forward to the Outdoor show in Suffern,NY in March. I know one Mr.Andrus will be present;).
  13. Good Luck Ruth. Thanks to people like you, those DEC camps are great places for kids to learn and have fun.
  14. Congrats to the both of you! Happy Anniversary:)
  15. Happy Anniversary to the both of ya. Cool move Luke:cool:
  16. I like him already Randy:) Us Anthonys stick together:D...Welcome.
  17. Jeez you guys acted like a bunch of tourists:D What! No Central park looking for THE coyote running around or the few turkeys that are familiar to the great lawn:) Looks like you had a good time. Oooo a Vette...Betcha you had to take it easy on the way home and it killed ya:p.Good Luck with it. What all of you have said, about NYC being crowded, dirty, loaded with street hustlers, noisy and fast fast fast ALL the time. You are correct. That is why tree stand tranquility is pursued. I can't wait to leave/retire either. Just keep in mind...America started here...a place called New Amsterdam for $24 and some beads.
  18. You are correct my good man, that was my son Joes post you found when we mounted the scope to his AR!. It was AJ, and I miss him:(. That man knew his stuff.
  19. My son Joe and I had the best season we ever had. Our bow season was slow due to the lack of acorns in the area we hunt, but gun season was rockin' for us. Not any big bucks, but we had deer all around us for quite a few days after opening day. I was very happy the youth of the state got to participate in gun season earlier than usual. What amazes me is the amount of DMP tags that are given out and the amount that are filled....or called in:rolleyes:
  20. Ya beat me to it William:D http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=557622 Williams link is the whole page of Midway, I linked one product. These were made on a lathe at my friends bike shop. I cannot take all the credit for this procedure. There was a sticky at the top of the rifle forum a few years ago. I can't remember who posted it, but it detailed this type of scope mounting and lapping the rings for a equal grasp by both rings. I never mount a scope any different now.
