Re: manufacturing cost If they didn't mark these products up the way they did...how would they pay for advertisment and nascar sponsorship? BIG BIG $$$ all on our backs. Capitalism at its best.

Re: 1969 Firebird convertible The car is 100% numbers matching car. Except for the fuel pump which went back in the late 80's. The drive train, 4.1 lt 250cu in line 6 Over head cam, 1bbl carb, 2 speed power glide tranny. The car was restored back in 86 with an enamel paint job code 083GM flame red( in a booth) and NEW convertible top with a NEW back window. VERY LITTLE rot was in rear wheel wells. The convertible top works. The interior, parchment in color, seats need nothing, dashboard is black. Carpet is fine. The end of the turn signal, plastic tip is chipped, the bracket on the handle that opens the vent on the passenger side is broke(plastic). The "I" is missing on the Pontaic on the deck lid( I have the "I") Thats all thats wrong with this car. This is a rare car. Everyone who got a hold of one of these ripped out the 6 and put in a big block in. This motor is untouched, still has the turquise paint on the block. This car is a driver. Car is turn key. Email for pics [email protected]

Email for serious inquiries and pictures. $15,000

Re: NEW Block 4x4 target... Everywhere I have looked at it, it seems to go for about $95 give or take a few bucks. Gander Mtn, cabelas, Bass Pro, local pro shop. Thats 30% more than the old block target was. I have a black hole target that is on its last leg. I might get one since myself and my 3 boys all shoot archery. If anyones has it, please give a product review.

I know a little bit about machining. Most of the bows today have fully machined risers done by CNC machines. Computer Numeric Control. These machines are NOT cheap. You can see them on the custom chopper shows when they cut wheels out of a billet of aluminum. Most mass produced firearms have fully benifitted from this CNC process. Almost everything that has to be machined is more precisely made today thanks to CNC. The tolerances are closer than they will ever be. I think I'm in LOVE with my Mathews... R&D is most likely the major cost of the product. If you look at what goes into these bows today, its not hard to wind up spending over a grand for a set up.

Re: 4 wheeler preference I have a 03 Yamaha Kodiak 400. I have really put this machine to the test. I've dragged all kinds of things with it,logs, animals and even used it to pull out my truck stuck in the mud. REALLY! The truck just needed a little more umph! I've had three people on it, shuttling guys to tree stands. Used it to plow snow around the house. Its never failed, in cold or hot weather. It is a bit thirsty though. I use a Iridium plug and synthetic oil. The Kodiak 450 is a better machine than mine. I also have 3 Yamaha dirt bikes, bought new, that have never failed me either.

Re: skull bleaching AHAAAA!!!! Gonna try it tomorrow. Thanks AW

Re: skull bleaching Ok... Ya gotta have, latex gloves, a big pot to fit the whole skull in and to boil the skull in, liquid soap in the boil to break grease and fat(DAWN,works good), a sharp knife, sharp scraper 1"putty knife I use. Saran wrap to wrap the antlers and seal out the bleaching stuff. The boiling will discolor the horns. Boil, hack, scrape. Use a wire hanger to scramble the brains out. Be careful with the water, just before the water gets to boil is OK, simmer it, boiling splashes. Depending on the state of the de composition of your skull,(well not your skull, the skull your boiling ) you may have to boil it 4 hours or more. Every hour or so, take it out and scrape some meat loose. Keep doing this. If the water smell is too much to take, dump the water and make a new boil and start over. The nasal cavity is very delicate, so if you want to preserve that part, be careful around there. After the skull is clean and dry, you paint it with 40% peroxide and this powder I have been asking about. Let it dry and you have a european mount. Thats what I know. Hope it helps.

Re: Getting a Foxpro! Joe(SH91) is at camp for 2 weeks. He asked me to say hello to everyone here. I had to take his foxpro away from him at camp. He took it with him to scare people at night with it. If someone gets real scared, they might break it on him, so I took it home with me. I don't know where he gets that sick sense of humor?

I'm looking to bleach some skulls. I know about the meat removal, scraping. What kind of powder is used to mix with the 40peroxide to make the paste to coat the skull with ? Where can I get that powder? Any info appreciated.
