  6. Re: Deer fighting The youngsters out there were just probably sparring or playing, and it was not likely a real battle for dominance. I would just chalk it up to a cool sighting in the woods.

  16. Re: Rocky Mountain Nationa Park.. here I come!! [ QUOTE ] Yep, its beautiful too. Be sure you take the old road to the top of the mountain (the gift shop). There are no guardrails, its all switchbacks and driving a car up it is a little creepy but beautiful. Btw, Estes Park is a nice town. If you get the chance to walk around do so. 17. Re: Live on a dirt road?? No dirt, but I have lived on a gravel road all my life. If they every wanted to pave it I'd put up a fight. I'm the second of two houses on this road amd doubt I'll ever see it paved. Love living in the river hills.

  19. Re: No sure what to do! You need to get your azz back out there. There is no real reason for you to be in Ok in the first place. Why didn't you wait to hear about their condition and get all the facts before bailing on a couple major commitments? I'd leave and get back out there right away. Why blow a great opporotunity on just hanging out at home?

  22. I've heard some good things about these bullets and I'm thinking about using them in my Remington 7mm Mag for an elk hunt this fall. Is anyone using these bullets and if so how do they perform? Thanks.
  23. I'm hoping to find a pre BDL ADL Reminton Model 700 chambered in .243. My dad is desperately seeking another one.
  24. On the Weatherby Web site, they list ballistics for a 300 yard sight in. Does anyone know where I could find the info. for a 200 yard sight in on a 115 grain balistic tip bullet? I'm thinking I want to be dead on at two hundred and then adjust if it is farther. Thanks.
  25. Re: Effective Range and questions, .243? I shoot 95 gr ballistic tips and have taken nothing but shoulder shots. my average shot is 200-300 yards. You will be just fine.
