You would like to think that. Yes i am a realtree fan when it comes to tv and the hunters. I know more about realtree prostaffer then anyone from mossyoak. But I still buy nothing but break up for camo. I think it is mostly because of the way it started. One hunting buddy wears realtree and only realtree, another advantage and thats all, I myself wear new break up. I guess I could switch, but I would hate to be the one that misses the big buck because I broke the tradition.

Yeah I would check the speed first if tthat is not the issue then maybe it is a driver error. Check for updates on the website of the hardware maker. If you have the most current drivers then I would uninstall the device and try installing it again. Maybe a file just got currupt during the install.

Thanx guys.....i would have been one here after the move but all of my stuff got put into the house i am working on...i had to break down and get my computer, cd's, and my hutning stuff. You know all the important stuff.

it has been two months since i last came here so here is the what you have missed. My mom go a new job in Goergetown so instead of paying rent on an apartment that we never stay in she moved in with her sister until she can settle down somewhere. I moved in with my wife to be and her parents until we finish our house which has hit a snag. I got laid off for the second time this year. I was told because there was a lack of work, the next week I learned that that wasn't the case. The bosses son needed a job so he had to clear some space. So in my time off I have been reading books for my test. I finish that in a few day and call the testing center, they have nobody that is allowed to give the test because the woman that did left them. So I am waiting to here from them while still trying to get a job. One good thing has happened though. One of my friends was talking to a guy about his bow and the man offered to trade with him. That man had a matthews MQ1. He calls me up and gave it to me. He said he alread had a matthews and would never use it, Since i am the only one of our group that still hunts he gives it to me. And this saturday I will be getting married. I cant wait!!!!!!!!!

Re: This is the coolest thing I have seen in a while Yeah but how fast does it react. You would think that once your finger hits the blade the damage is done. But I guess for other body parts like the arm it would be a good idea. I would rather be cut then have my arm removed.

of sitting at home and eating twinkies I got the call. My layoff is over and I get to go back to work monday moring. Thank God too...I was going nuts doing nothing all day. And this time around I will not go missing for 4 months.

I bought the H.S. Strut Eddie Salter's Bad Boy 2 call. I noticed that when I use the call one way it makes a raspy call. I flip it and it makes a high pitch call. The high pitch side almost sounds too high pitched to me. Now is this call designed to flip or is it that the bottom reed adds to the quality of sound?

Well guys I have not been around in some time now but let me fill you in on what has been going on. I started a new job doing construction...I bought a house for my wife to be and I, and I also now have one half of my a+ certification. I guess you can say I have been very busy the past few months. Come home from work go work on my new place and then come home and hit the books. But I am now on layoff status so I have a little time on my hands. So whats been going on?

Re: H.S. True Talker I have had one for some time now. I got when I started hunting. I don't think I would ever buy another grunt call. It has made many deer come to me over the years.

Re: Smokeless Tobacco In The Stand?? I always do. I dont spit all around me though. I always put a pop bottle in my hunting pack so I can use it to spit in. I also always take natural flavor with me. It does not have a strong smell like wintergreen.

So I thought I knew every sound a deer makes. But today I was talking to a guy and he said he has heard a deer scream before. I thought I knew what he was talking about because I shot a deer once and it made a long grunt noise. But he said is sounds like someone scream "over here". Is this a real deer sound or is this guy just blowing smoke?

Ok here is the deal. I will be starting a new job soon. At the interview they said come back tuesday the 24th. Being next week I figure I would go hunting with my girl friends dad this weekend. He doesn't get to go hunting much because of work and he had to quit bow hunting because of his back. This weekend is the early muzzleloader season. It is only two days long. Now here is the thing. They called me today and want me to come fill out my paper work. Before I got off the phone the woman said something about coming in tomorrow to work. I dont know what to tell her when I go in. Should I change my plans so I can work tomorrow and hunt only Sunday or tell her about my girlfriends dad and our plans. I wouldn't have cared to much but he has been planning this for awhile now and already got us some hunting passes to hunt where he works. Please someone offer me some advice. I really dont know what to do.

I was told yesterday that deer like the smell of turpetine. The guy told me he read that they will come to the smell. Is there any truth to this?

Re: What to do I think I will go move an old stand my friend left behind the house a year ago. I told him I would get it for him but he said not to worry about it. As far as I know it is still in a tree beside the big scrape. I would just have to find a good place to put it. I am afraid to go in there and cut some of the brush out. You dont think it will make him leave do you?
