Re: Feedback wanted!! I have been here for a couple months .The people I have met on here true people that work and play in the outdoors just like me.I have met people from TX,OK,MICH,MIN,ILL from all over we all share one thing the love for outdoors. We help each other out buy talking as a group .We dont have no outsiders we welcome all we are all friends here.We talk about the bonds we shared in the field with loved ones. You become closer when you share that experince with friends and family .We let each other no if one of us step out of line .We must set examples for future outdoors men and women. So they can pass what we teach to them on.Like value of a good friends and family they will lift you up when you are down .They will help you when you not sure of life and just need some one to listen. When you souround your self with good people your character will shine and devolope. You will learn to express your self and your beleifs , and listen because of the bond you have mad with the outdoors men and women .

Re: full moon! If you realy want to see how it affects deer .Start keeping a journel write down moon phase ,temp, rain, snow ,Barimetric pressure, wind direction. And when you see deer note what direction they came from .Do this for a couple of seasons and then go back and compare your info.I did this for 4 years ever buck I killed was 3 days before the full moon or 3 days after.Same thing with most doe sittings being higher during this period .Start your journel and make up your on mind.

So the goal is to walk so far that no one eles would be crazy enough to go that far.I got drawed for hunt with slug gun.I got map of area one way in my party walked 2 miles down a rail road track before gone into the woods. we were the only ones back that far we killed 5 does there were only 7 does killed out of our area out of 30 hunters. We never seen another sole back that far.Long Long Long Drag we tried the weight lemight out on the deer cart .

Re: Matthews Switchback XT or Bowtech Tribute I shoot the switch backXT i love it .I have never shot a bow tech the switch back is very forgiving because of its long brace hgt. All that matters is how much confidence you have in your equipement and you abilty to shoot it.The deer dont care what kind of bow you shoot it with.

Re: Getting the 411 welcome to the forums .... I am from south eastern ky knox co.

Re: Bows If you dont no your draw length go to a pro shop they can help with this.Mathews will let you shoot one befor you buy I dont no about bow tech.Have you ever bow hunted before and how dedcated are you.I have a switch backXT i love it but I bow hunt from sept. to janu.If you have never bow hunted before you might not want to jump strate into a top off the line because if you dont like it there you are your gone to loose alot of money trying to sell it.But if you have bow hunted before I dont think it matters what kind of bow you hunt with. You thank a deer is gone to let you shoot it just because you have paticular brand bow in your hand. All that matters is if you are confadint in you equipment and your ability to use .

Brianxt replied to dartonman's topic in Bowhunting
Re: ***Here is a touchy subject...lets talk about this some time things just happen gun hunting and bow hunting . I have a friend he shoot a doe last year 1/4 away shot he hit her on 2nd from last rib .We found great blood for 20-30 yds then it quit.we looked for 3-4 hrs that nite. We came back that next morning she was laying 20yds from were th truck was parked. She had ran down hill 100-150 yds . The problem was the broad head broke up .It was 100 grain muzzy 3 blade the charcar tip was gone also was the blades.I had never seen a muzzy break up like that and I have been using them for 10 yrs. We didn,t give up and we found her short drag to.
