Re: Found 2 dead bucks!!! Did you ask the landowner about them? I'm just wondering if they were shot during your gun season and they were lost while trailing them. Either way, it's a shame, they are both nice bucks.

Re: Corn planting problem solved That thing is cool!! I've never seen something like that. It looks like it will work great!! I'm glad you found it. I'd imagine that will save you money in no time planting your own crop instead of hiring a farmer to do it for ya. If you ever decide that it is too big, I have a two row planter. Maybe we can trade!!

[/ QUOTE ]Sorry if I used the word cull in the wrong sense. I don't believe I ever said he had bad genes. I did however say that he was shot in the foot. This buck is not one I would have normally shot. He did have a messed up rack, more than likely from an injury of some sort. He was probably a 2 year old, that would have more than likely never turned into a 140 class deer. I guess I should have called it a mercy killin!!
