Yup - cool show. I like the one where he was with the sewage technician cleaning out a municipal basin or something like that. No way... couldn't do it.
I'm going to dust off the old bow and start killing some paper this year. I'm looking for your old arrows for target practice. Nothing special - preferably straight. Tips not necessary - I'll be putting practice tips on them anyway. I'm also going to get my kids into shooting. I've got an old Bear Blacktail hunter and I was blessed enough to get a deal on a used youth Lil Sioux recurve and unknown brand youth compound for the kids. Regardless, if you've got any old arrows laying around you want to part with, please send me a message.
LOL! Be sure to contact the taxidermist before you field dress it...
I don't mind them until I look down and find them crawling in me. Then I'm in the same boat as you.
Best of luck finding the camera. As far as thieves go a local guy was cought stealing tree stands. They tied him to 15 different thefts last year. He was keeping all the stands in his barn hoping to sell them at some time. A guy should be able to enjoy the woods without worrying about some idiot out there looking to pilfer his stuff.
Very cool! Closest I've ever been was watching one hit the surface about 50 yards away on the backwaters of Tippy Dam, Wellston, MI. It would be very cool to get that upclose!
Looks like something from the Nightshade family - same family as potatos and tomatos. Deadly Nightshade has leaves similar and gets purple and yellow flowers. Its berries look like teeny tomatos but are poisonous. However, if the stem is square - its in the mint family.
Here's a link:

A guy I know sells the pelts and was getting $7.50 a pelt for awhile. I haven't the slightest if that's good or bad to be honest. Eat a coyote? Well, I'd have to be awefully hungry.
Probably 8 years ago my dad picked up an old Bear Blacktail Hunter bow for me at a yard sale. Its the only bow I've got. I'd really like to get back into shooting a bow an maybe even hunt in a year or two (won't happen this year). The bow is naked. I was also given an simple three pin sight that I haven't mounted on it. Should I make the investment and have it tuned up and outfitted? I'm thinking even just a minimal amount to get back into shooting - its been years. Suggestions welcome.
Auction is closed and instructions have been sent to Ohiobucks. He is sending me a postal money order/cashier check made out to the Dr. David Ashburn Memorial Fund. As soon as I receive it it will be immediately sent to the fund at National City Bank and the sight goes to Ohiobucks. It isn't much at all but its what I can do.
