Just saw a salute by Bill Jordan hunting with Dale Sr. on Direct TV Man, looking back he was so young. Nice to see the videos, brought back a lot of memories of hunting seasons and NASCAR races I have been to. RIP #3

I could not tell by the picture but is he still in velvet? May have some additional growth to go if so. Nice buck!

I ordered one on Amazon, the camo version, as they sold out fast last year. I ordered early so I would have it this season. Very comfortable. I bought extra battery so I can have plenty of back-up power to spare. If it works as well as I hope I wonder if they will come out with a glove and pants version someday?

The Spyder has been out a long time: PSE Spyder Specifications - All Years & Modifications I would recommend you checking out new or used bows at a local Pro Shop. If they sell it they should be able to service it regardless of the year/version good luck

I do not shoot during the off season. Just about now I start to get ready. Good luck!

We just went through that a few months ago too. Taking you dog in for that one-way trip is heartbreaking. After a few weeks, we got a Plott Hound from the local rescue. Some health issues and some $$$ later we have a really awesome dog. Good luck with your new addition.

Here are some links you can do research on the vehicle: New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com Official Kelley Blue Book New & Used Car Values Good luck

We lost an American icon tonight, the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong. I remember tat hot Jul night as family and neighbors gathered around our TV to watch the accomplishment. We elaborated for some time after that. Tank you for your service Neil, rest in peace!

I used Ol Mn climbers as well as API. I like a climber that has a gun rest just to give me that closed in feeling and someplace to rest my bow or gun.
-
I am trying Firenocks this year. I hope they do better than the other brands I have tried

Nope, all the der were heart shots. That is my personal experience with Magnus, I will stick with them:rockon:

It is hunting and not shopping so stuff like that can happen. Some good advice in some of the threads above but if you exhausted the search stuff just happens. Next time bring some flagging tape and tie it to branches or whatever as you find the blood spots. Get some peroxide in a bottle and/or those blood trailing flashlights and work the zone real slow. With this heat, if you don't smell the stink by now it may have been a non-fatal hit.
-
Good luck with your new duds. In a tree stand I use camo. In a ground blind I wear all black.
-
sight in your gear when you get there. Good lcm

I think all the major barnds put a lot of effort into their products, it is a matter of budget and personal choice
-
I am with you on the coffee deal. No caffeine for me in coffee, soda or those 5 - hour energy drinks.
-
Depending on you preference and eyesight. I found the pins would 'bunch up' on me. I use a Bushnell Holosight on my bow and a scope on my cross bow. I don not worry of that would disqualify me from a record book as that does not matter to me. What matters to me is confidence and accuracy in my gear. Good luck with your decision

Regardless of the manufacture and the markeing hype, I would suggest you try a few local Pro Shops. For services and the time they spend to get you set up they sure beat the big box stores IMHO. Been there, done that. For me, local Pro shop only. Good luck with your choice

My first "brush gun" was a Marlin 30.30 CCS. Great gun. Lever action is nice. I hunt different places so I now use a Remington 700SS 30.06. You can not go wrond with the old lever action if it suits your needs and budget

I got my pre-seaosn shopping done. One item I got was the Spypoint 5MP IR camera. They sure are small which I like. I set it out a few days ago and will get to check the results soon. Anyone have this brand? How did you like it?
-
I see the Milwaukee M12 cordless Heated Jacket add on the RT forum ad. I got one and will try it out this winter. Anyone have experience with it? I think it should keep me warmer than a standard winter hunting coat I hope!

I hunted Missouri and the cows would mill around my ground blind. They would even try and rub up against the blind. If they are in the field, I move on. Accidents with cows are too expensive if the shot goes where it was not intended IMHO
