1. New stuff is always interesting although I would be concerned about getting arm slap or the shot cantered out too much. I like horizantal but it if works for you, give it a try
2. I have a Remington 700ML topped with a Leupold Ultimate Slam scope. Works real well.
3. I have put up a blind in the mooring and got a buck out of it that afternoon. As long as you blind is scent free I found deer do not get spooked by a blind.
4. Legislation was being considered but I could not get an update if the amendment to permit baiting has passed: AONmagazine.com - Bill Allowing Deer Hunting Over Bait Progresses In State Senate - Alabama Outdoor News
5. What the all said it what works for me too. Good luck
6. Good luck with your decision. With this drought it will be a tough season I am thinking.
7. Check out Magnus. I use fixed 4-blade deals. 99% of the deer I hit drop right where I hit them. The other 1% did run but dropped with 30 yards.
8. Go to a local Pro Shop. They can ensure your gear is tuned properly and they can evaualte you shooting form.
9. My Magnus fixed baldes hold their edge very well. Easy to sharpen up. If they break, send them back to Magnus for free replacement. Usually deer drop in their tracka when wacked with Magnus.
10. I use Double Bull blinds exclusively. Just bring some bottles of water. A Frog Togg Chilly Pad may help if you are that uncomfortable with the heat. Wal Mart has them.
11. That is awesome!~ Congrats!!
12. I too don't follow what that is he mentioned. Clarification , please.
13. Well, before taking anything into you body I like to check Web MD. They have interesting results to share on energy drinks, diets, and other cures and such that get heavily promoted to the public: WebMD Health Search Never hurts to keep in mind: [h=1]Caveat emptor[/h]

All you need is a day! Why risk hearing "You should have been here last week" - when our guarantee of great fishing every day of every week means simply, no trophy, no charge! Why plan on 50- or 70-mile runs offshore to get to the fishing grounds - when we bring the fishing grounds to you? Why worry about spending long hours trolling in hopes of finding fish - when you can be sure of having fish right there the moment the skipper calls, "Line in"? If you're ready to battle monster marlin, huge yellowfin and giant bluefin tuna, scores of sailfish and more, it's time to book a day at the Lone Star Bluewater Fishing Ranch. Located just off the Texas coast, the first fishing ranch of its kind anywhere in the world emulates the success of the finest big-game hunting ranches. How It Works Lone Star BFR variously catches and purchases healthy big-game fish from all over the North Atlantic, Caribbean and beyond, then releases them into separate species pens to grow even bigger until they're ready to be caught. Two days before your scheduled fishing day, we remove several individual fish of whatever species you've contracted to catch (our pens operate like advanced purse seines to facilitate this). Then, we transport them to a smaller pen to which you're shuttled immediately by boat or helicopter when you arrive. There, your big-game boat with captain and crew awaits - as do several huge fish, all hungry and looking to eat! Does it get any better? Then check out this link: The Lone Star

15. Congrats! Going to make calls out of the win bone and mount to tail/beard/spurs?
16. Congrats! Yes, get the Lifetime License. I have mine from Georgia. I don't get back as often as I should but it is nee to know I can fish/hunt there without paying out of state fees etc. Also, kind of makes me feel still connected to Georgia. Good luck with your new license and your days afield!
17. Great pictures! What camera and settings did you use for the waterfall shot?
18. I reckon we all got to go back to work:bang:
19. For those in the 42 states that participate, are you in an office Mega Lottery Pool? Did you buy your own ticket? Did you do both? If you win, would you play off my mortgage? Good luck to all!
20. Double Bull Matrix RECURVE, their biggest. Since Primos bought out Double Bull, you may have to call and ask to special order their biggest blind, the Matrix Recurve model, big enough for hunters using a longbow! I have this blind, it is awesome!

Night Sky

On a clear evening I always get a kick out of the night sky. I am not an astronomer. I do know the major heavenly bodies out there but that is limited. I got a "Night Sky" app for my iPhone 4S and this little 99 cent app is awesome. Anyone have it or another app similar. Kind of nice to be walking in the dark woods on the way to your stand and stay on track. A inexpensive back up to my Garmin HcX for sure! Not too helpful on a cloudy night but, heck, nothing is perfect!
22. That is good customer service! Let us know how it goes!
