  1. Thats terrible... about 2 years ago I was outside my place near Milwaukee when I felt the ground shake and a shockwave, then heard a boom. Went and found that a house blew up a few blocks away.....there was pieces of house everywhere.
  2. Nice pics, that one is a really nice buck!! Hes gonna get an eye put out messin' around with that spiker haha
  3. I get tired just thinking about what moms who 'do it all' have to do lol
  4. Hope you get an interview set-up with them!! That seems to be the hardest part is getting folks to even call to set one up lately..... Good luck! Ive already got my fingers crossed for my interview tomorrow...I will cross my toes for you lol
  5. Thats a guy in a bear suit!!! Haha That kinda creeps me out a bit......I guess its easier to walk upright on two legs than down on 3... I wonder how she lost that leg..??? Sasquatch bite it off..?
  6. Jimmys sandwiches are great. Theres a place in Milwaukee called Suburpia.....those are my favorites!!! I may have to have one friday while Im down there.
  7. Yeah I know they have been known for less than good customer relations. I myself was pretty sick of a salesman over there about 2 years ago. Maybe it wont be too hard to stand out as a good guy to folks looking to buy a new toy... I dont know anybody there, but they were advertising to hire 8 people. Im pretty sure its more commission based, but I dont have any money coming in now so anything is better than this...and its only 5min from home. I dont like to be a job hopper, but I need to take what I can get right now. If it starts to look like a crappy place to work..I will start keeping my eyes open for other places.
  8. I have an interview for a salesman position at a local boat, atv, snowmobile, etc dealer!!! Its the "largest indoor showroom in the Midwest"...according to them haha I havent really been in any kind of sales position lately...but hopefully I can still prove to them that I can do it LOL. And I will have to wear a monkey suit (shirt and tie), but I can handle that. Get your rabbits foot out an give it a rub for me if y'all dont mind!!! Thanks!
  9. Looks like the one in WI too LOL Awesome stores for sure!!! Only time I have found 'deals' is when they have end of season sales...we picked up some goose decoys when they were like 30% off. They are still overpriced lol, but they were cheaper than anywhere else.
  10. Yep, no problem. It funny that this thread pops up now because I just finished reading "Ted, White and Blue" by the Nuge and am now into "Arguing With Idiots' by Beck. In their books they mention the other as being on of the 'good guys', thats what made me think to find that interview.
  11. I think thats the OTPG in you coming out...LOL To me....a 10 gauge is unnecessary, but if thats what you want, go on and get one!!!:gunsmilie:
  12. Glenn Beck is on Ted Nugents good side....so he must be all for bagging critters.. http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/17507/
  13. Good job getting one more dirt bag where he belongs....now he just needs to get himself caught!
  14. Couple of dandy bucks there......too bad those guys had to go that way. Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes.
  15. Close....Hes a Libertarian (for the most part) (as am I, for the most part). Libertarians want smaller government...ie more personal freedoms to do what one pleases as long as it does not affect others negatively. They are neither right or left wing. I am a fan of Beck. Im reading his book "Arguing with Idiots'' at this time. Its not your standard reading material, but it is very intersting and frustrating to learn what truths he has revealed about the government. Glenn is very pro 2nd ammendment and is one of the first guys to make Cass Sunstein look like a fool.
  16. They grow some dandy bucks in those high fenced places.
  17. Best wishes to Uncle John and his family and friends...
  18. Thats odd..a nice bird though!! The first Tom I ever shot didnt have spurs, just bumps. It gobbled and strutted his way to my decoy and tried to have his way with it....so it wasnt confused LOL but he didnt have any hooks.
  19. Thats the exact situation I was in this time last year. I was laid off, and collecting the max for unemployment $383 a week. I moved from Milwaukee to a smaller (much) town to find a lower cost of living. I knew the pay would be less, but was shocked to see how much less......I didnt pass up any job offers, but I didnt apply to jobs that paid less than what I was getting on unemployment....I really couldnt afford to. I was lucky and got a pretty good paying job in Green Bay, so it worked out....until I was laid off by them. But thats another story. So I have been laid off twice in a year by two companies...now I have no money except side jobs coming in as of now. Im glad I dont have many bills.....

  21. Just sent out another round of resumes and cover letters. Heading out on the ice with a buddy around 3 o clock. With cold temps and crummy fishing lately.....seems like every day is slow.
