That's no way to think when it comes to relationships. If everyone thought that before starting to build a relationship, not a single person would be in any relationship. Don't fear rejection, don't fear pain down the road. It happens to every single one of use. Just learn from that relationship, use the knowledge gained in the next relationship.

Alright, I have had my fair share of trying to do this long distance stuff. The most recent with a lady friend that lived on the other side of the country! It works for a while but then fades away. Do not waste your time with putting the effort into long distance stuff if it is the slightest bit obvious that the second party is not going to put the same amount of effort. This should have been obvious when you guys didnt talk as much as you did when you're together. I have seen long distance stuff work, ie. my sister. She dated a guy in Washington state and she was in North Carolina, for two years and they just got married this past January. But, the thing they had going for them is that they have known each other for 22 years, grew up together and his family moved when they were in high school so they had already had a solid foundation and were not trying to do the "fun first 6 months" of a relationship. But let's really step back and think about this. Please correct me if I am wrong, I am just assuming things here.... You're late teens? In college? Come home two weekends a year to hunt, but not during hunting season come home to try and see her. Even before there was any relationship you would come home just thinking about the possibility of getting the chance to hang out with her? Scratch all that, besides the hunting part. Stay at school on the weekends, get out and meet people. I know there has to be some hot chicks in your classes that you can ask out for dinner or something. Now, you dont have to like them, you dont know what they're into, but you will never know until you ask one out or start a good conversation. Chicks always have friends that are chicks. If one doesnt work, her best friend might. Its a fine line but a fun line to play with and try and cross, the whole best friend thing. Again, it gets down to playing "the game" the friend might be interested but will keep it on the downlow from the original friend for a while. Anyhow, for now (until more information is provided) lets stick with the long distance stuff will not work unless both parties try really hard. Almost harder than if you were in the same town. Also, the trust factor is huge in long distance stuff, if either have any doubt about the other, it will not work. Stay in your town on the weekends and get out there and have fun.

I have had 3 phones make it through the wash and into the dryer. Once out of the dryer 2 of 3 worked for a year afterwards.

This I think todays days of dating/liking/having fun are a lot different than the days of courtin like in my parents era (they are 58, so whatever year your courted when you're that old).

I was actually being serious in this thread. Just telling her what females do that works on me. I am still in the "game". And do believe in marriage, dating and love. I have and still do two of the three and am not against the whole marriage thing i just choose not to do it right now.

Team, I am stepping out of the competition. I have talked with jcwa and flintlock is going to take my place on the team. The reason I am stepping out is because I am not sure if I am going to be able to get into the woods to deer hunt this year. I have not figured out this state to find good lands and some other financial issues have come up which I believe will allow me not to get out in the deer woods. So, for me knowing now and to not jepordize the team by knowing a head of time that I might not get a deer or even be able to get out and hunt, I am letting my spot go to someone who will actually be able to get out and hunt and has a good chance at getting a deer or two. I wish yall the best and will be pulling for you. I just dont want to see the team fail because I couldnt even get out to deer hunt. Good Luck all.

Oh no. remember, they are poisonous!!!!! Give them the slightest little bit of attention that maybe you are interested in getting to know them. As soon as you think you have them thinking you might want to get to know them, pay them no attention. Make them come to you from then on. Also, being in high school all you have to do is tell one girl friend that you want to get "that" guys attention and he will find out within hours, maybe even minutes. The number one thing to do is be yourself, do not change for anyone and do not put on an act.

I would say on average 2 birds a year I will not get picked up. I figure doing all my hunting by walking in only and no dog, thats not bad at all. I know folks that lose a ton more than that and hunt out of boats and dogs around me. One thing I do though, is pick up a every single bird before I pull the trigger again. Even if it takes me an hour to find the bird.

When we do our whole hogs back home, we keep the size to under 150lbs. We also inject some apple juice inside of them, that could also help with your moisture. Another thing would be to make a wrap out of foil. After 3/4 of the way smoked, place on top of foil, dump coke over entire hog and wrap completely in foil. Place back on pit for another 2 hours, or so, and then unwrap and let the final 45 minutes to an hour cook unfoiled.

10-4 Seriously if equipment gets missing or messed up in travels and you are in a pinch and need something, let me know. I can meet you somewhere with anything I have to help you get to hunt. I just know how traveling can be sometimes with all your hunting equipment. It doesnt go as planned some of the time and having a back up is good.
