I would say the deer in front of the first pic and the second pic could very well be the same deer. If not they are related pretty dang closely. The "big" boy, I cant really tell. Either way great pics and deer.

jerk rig weights. The little anchors that come with the systems do not grab well in our sand but mostly small rocky river conditions and tend to move around a lot. Dan, dont do this. Add a little extra line to be able to bend them over the keel. Bending around the necks, scratches the paint, pulls off the flocking and will cause you to replace dekes sooner. Keep those tops protected. I will try and get a pic up of what I do.

What kind of water movement do you have? You want to use the lease amount of weight possible to keep the dekes from floating away in the water. The lighter the weights the easier on your back it will be to carry them in an out. On all mine I use 6.

uhhhhh.....better to do it now, than opening morning when you are walking in. If you plan to hunt it, get in now and get some lanes cleared. You dont have to hunt it opening morning or month. Clear now, hunt the rest of the property and when deer activity slows, go into their hiding spot that you cleared lanes for a month prior and hunt.
