Yesterday I get home from work and there is a smile pile of bile on the floor. No big deal, dogs throw up and when they dont have any food in them this is all that comes up. I have had dog get sick in the past, so I watered her, cleaned the carpet, fed her some food and thats that. She normally scarfs down the food but yesterday evening she didnt touch it. She wouldnt even eat the ice cube that I give her as her treat. No biggie, she has an upset stomach, she will come around soon.
Couple hours later I give her a bath, she runs around, plays, comes in and drinks a little water and goes to sleep. I put her normal amount of food in her bowl and she doesnt touch it. At some point between 2 and 5 hours later she eats the bowl of food. 1 am, she throws up a very small amount of food. It wakes me up, I clean up take her outside, she pees and tries to poo. It looked like she was straining a little without much output. She finishes up and comes inside. Drinks some more and we go to bed.
3 am rolls around and I wake up to her puking her brains out. I now have the entire bowl of food on the floor in three piles. Clean up, put her outside and she is running around the yard chasing the neighbors dog through the fence. She looks fine, is acting somewhat normal, but not drinking anything yet. I am not going to give her any food and will be coming home from work in 7 hours to check on her. My question is, how long should I wait to take her to the vet? She has been hydrating herself pretty good after each puke session. Is there anyway to tell if its something more than just an upset tummy? Anything I can give her?
I will have an update of upchuck in 7-8 hours from now.
I hate this for her and know I am over thinking things by thinking she has some deadly sickness but I'm worried. I cant imagine having kids if I am stressing this bad over my pup.

8 months old
Airedale
Got from the shelter at 5 months old
They gave her shots there, but I am not sure of which ones. Will be calling this morning to find out
have had rabbies shot and been spayed.
And one more question.
What is the timeline for shots for a dog at 8 months?
When should shots have been given at each month of age and which shots?
Sorry for the long winded post and i could have PMed, but figured this would be a good post to have in the forum for future seaches of members for sick pups.
Thanks.
