It looks like it may rain here on opening weekend. I am going to try and get out on sunday.

Went and moved 2 stands today. Excited to get out in the woods soon.

It depends on your comfort level with your buddy. Sometimes we hunt 100 yards apart and sometimes a couple hundred. Depends on the plan of the day.

You will love that summit viper. I know i love mine! I am on my second set of cables and the stand has to be close to 8+ years old. Would only trade it for a new one.

I am bummed. For the second year in a row my hunting buddy will be our with another spinal fusion. He may be back in December . We are going to go ahead and move his stand and get it ready for his return.

I wanted to go move a stand about 50 yards today but it is raining hard this morning. Hopefully next weekend is a little better.

I have an old ruger 22 that jams all the time due to a chip in the gun due to a failure to extract/jam. My glock 32 jammed when i shot speer lawman out of it. My glock 26 has never malfunctioned. My grandpas old taurus 38 wheelgun has never malfunctioned either. You never know. Buy what you are comfortable with.

It is still hot here in the mid to upper 80's. We have had a few days in the 70's but not many. Congrats on that buck!

I would say being out hunting already, you were the one sweating??!! I coworkers son killed a nice non-typical in velvet sunday. I will try to get some pics.

I love my two glocks (32 & 26). What is the gun going to be used for? For a revolver Rugers are excellent.
