Just checking in team....i will be hitting the woods at the end of the month until the beginning of Feb. Antler Addicts? Bucking Nuts? Tail Chasers? slickhead slayers? I don't really care....just here to try to drop some deer and make some new friends.

I wish i had my own farm. Then I could put out higher quality cameras.....Having a trespasser on camera multiple times last year makes me nervous.

That is not a crossbow. That is a device that holds your compound at full draw for you. correction...I saw the crossbow and am not impressed.

I agree with Redkneck, get the 16 card. You will fill up that small one in NO TIME with video. I had mine out for 30 days taking day and night pics with 30 second delay and had more than 500 pics.

Can you set it for 24 hrs? what is the exact model? Try the wild game website for the model.

It should have come with a manual. The PIR setting is the sensitivity for it going off. High will give you more pics. I ahve a few different models - two being their micro cams - and they work fine. Fairly inexpensive and they pics are ok. Serves my purpose on the farm i hunt, and with all of the other guys that hunt i wont be out too much if they walk off. I have great pics from them.

find where multiple trails come together and set up off of that. Maybe a funnel between bedding and food? Put in a few days in the new area and you will learn where to put the stand.

I shoot an optima and love it..... Blackhorn 209(clean) and a 250 grain hornady sabot....deadly accurate.

I hated hunting when the cows were in the same valley. Mostly because the bull was always with them. And a yearling bull thought i was there to play with him.

I take a camera to quickly look at the pics but i also bring the cards home. Changing them out is way easier and my camera screen is not large enough to see detail.

Usually my best time is around 30 minutes after first light and 30 minutes before dark but any time you are in the woods is a good time. My uncle and dad have shot a few good deer between 12 and 1 pm. Last deer i shot was @ 11:50 am

Put it where the trails cross? They may never find it between trails. I always buy a 50lb red mineral block from tractor supply. Last a while and the deer love it. They dont use it once it gets cold out.
