In one year we replaced the hot water heater, 2 sump pumps, dishwasher motor, reinforce my bedroom floor in our crawlspace, and WATERPROOF the basement
I am glad it turned out well for you. Last year we caught a guy eyeballing a treestand 50 yards behind my friends uncles house. When we asked him what he was doing he said looking for ginseng and that he knew the owner. He said the owners fathers name who has since been passed for years. We told him he was trespassing but would be more than willing to go talk to the owner with him since he is sure he had permission. He decided to leave, fast.
No kidding, I have been seeing a lot of them. Every time i check the cam i have at least one pic of one but usually they are moving. This was a nice surprise.
I took the red dot off of mine last year. I put a tru-glo scope on it but am not a big fan of the eye relief on it. I am looking for another scope. Not sure which one to go with yet. Any thoughts?
We caught a guy way back in the woods one day say he was looking for ginseng, back where this camera was. He also happened to be standing under a treestand we had put up. Some how he had permission to be there but opted to leave when we said we wished to go talk to the owner with him (the owner is my friends uncle).
I carry a Kershaw Leek, I have carried a Kershaw Scallion, Spiderco Delica (Very Nice), Multiple gerber and buck knives, but i like the Kershaw Leek the best so far. Now for hunting i have the buck Omni Combo with PakLite Guthook combo a nd LOVE it.
To be honest I have had deer sniffing the cam during the day as it went off and a large 8 point licking a salt block in front of it for over 30 minutes at a time.
Deer hunting is a part of life for me. I love being outdoors in a treestand right at sun up. I enjoy harvesting a deer but I do not have to harvest one to be happy. I will hunt until I can no longer physically do it anymore. That being said, I hunt on my friend's uncle's farm, which does have a moderate amount of guys hunting on it. I have a state park within 20 minutes i could hunt if i had to but hunting public land is expensive. The only way i would ever stop hunting because of financial reasons would be that we are going broke because of it and i pray that day would never happen!
