I got a handirifle in 45-70, prob my least favorite in my collection, drops them dead every time, though they may drop 100 yards away. Been better since I switched to lever revolution though. I mostly bow hunt or if I take my girls they shoot a 243. Nice guns!

I use the photobucket app Dan. Works great, never had issues hosting pics or video. Also good bc you can set permissions for privacy, so it's nice that you can control access of family pics and stuff you don't necessarily want the world to see.

I've never planted those. We always mix in Austria winter peas in our plots, was considering doing an all pea plot this year. And yeah the Turkeys reek havoc on them.

Wow, good luck with that! Never had a problem here, rarely lock my doors except at night most of the time lol. I can imagine your anxiety dealing with that and worrying for your family while you're gone. Hope you catch him.

I never got one off, we just ditched school on certain days lol. Used to we had "doe days" when i was in high school. It was the only time of year you could take a doe with a gun. I never used to kill does with a gun so it was no biggie to me, but half the guys in school would be out, it was the best day of the year for them lol. Good luck to you!

I have a couple lock-ons I've welded little pieces of 6 inch long 1" pipe onto the base of at 45 degree angles. Chop a few cedar limbs or pine tops and stick down in them and it works wonders. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes when mother nature don't get her trees in the right location lol.

And you know what? I did not think none in the least about the date until I saw this post, I mean I didn't listen to the news coming in or nothing, I was oblivious to it. I got up this morning and was grabbing a shirt out of the closet and I picked up this white T-shirt that actually memorializes the 9-11 attacks. I have never worn this shirt to work, honestly don't remember who gave it to me, it's just been in my closet for years apparently. Just now put the two together when I looked at something on my shirt, I'm a little slow.

I remember I had stopped at a salvage yard to pick up a bumper for my brother's little Ford ranger he had bent up. I was listening to the news on the radio and thought that some idiot had maybe flown his little cesna into one of the towers. The situation of course quickly went downhill from there. Who can ever forget that day? Can't even look at the clock when it hits 9:11 in the same way anymore.

We hunt a lot of thick pine plantation around here, after about 15 years the yes are tall and thinned out and there's little as far as limbs for cover. You gotta be creative at times. I've used artificial Christmas tree limbs, cut limbs to bring to the stand and haul up with a rope, anything at all to create cover where otherwise there was none. It can be done if you put in a little work.

And FYI, Pruts is the first alternate, he was the last name in the hat on the draw, had 57 names as of last night and 56 drawn on the eight seven-man teams.
