I think bowtech is a great line and have come real close to getting one a time or two over the last few years. I have seen the limbs delaminate or just break in recent years earning them the nickname "blowtech" but is a pretty low number and I am sure they will correct any deficiency.

Depends on my mood, lol. So far this season I've taken a cheap Rossi 243 typed with a Simmons (my daughters gun), my 300wby vanguard, my 45-70 handi rifle (legal in our joke of a primitive season), a Marlin 30-30 and tasco expo (just cuz it looked lonely the other day). I guess that's about it, I really don't have just one I have to have, still bow hunt most of rifle season.

Wally world still had two bushmasters on the shelf here yesterday. I would grab one soon if I were in the market, also get your cc permit before lots more red tape is added. What happened in CT was an absolute tragedy, libs will want to act fast while there's public sentiment. But if you think any manufacturing ban or high cap magazine ban would have prevented this from happening you would be wrong.

My advice is to buy one soon + ammo + mags. Wish I had the funds to stock up myself but I don't.

Sounds like you got lucky. I've hit three in the last 5 years, killing 2 of them, the worst doing 4,800 in damages to my z71. They can get bad for sure during the rut.

Haha, I guess because you did something you almost certainly would not have done with your bow. Congratulations on your success, post up a pic and welcome to the forums. For what its worth, I think 75 is really pushing the limits with a xbow. Its not your ability to shoot at that distance, just the likelihood the deer moves to much at the sound of the shot. I'm glad you got your deer though!
