  1. Congratulations! Persistence pays off eventually!
  2. I can't take credit for it, was something I read on twitter, but hits the nail squarely on the head.
  3. Define irony: the use of children as props in the name of crafting legislation in order to protect them by a pro abortion administration.
  4. Congratulations! Thank you for serving or country!!! Welcome to the forums.
  5. Was not as bad as I had suspected it to be. I did not see the vid, but looking at the highlights if they were reported correctly as to his exec orders, it was surprisingly mild compared to what I had expected. I do not think the awb will pass the house.
  6. Crap, I need to say out of ok! There's a million analogies, they all are about as sensible. In the end it's sensationalism that is being used to further an agenda, not facts.
  7. Damn that's a shame!!!
  8. I'm clicking every form letter I can and also writing all of my elected officials letting them know where I stand. Our right to bear arms had nothing to do with hunting as some talking heads have claimed on talk shows lately wanting to ban high capacity mags. This right is to enable us to defend ourselves if need be against tyrants. Sickens me at some of the proposals I've heard! They want to tax ammo out of this world!
  9. Yeah, you guys are getting hosed, and it's just a matter of time when we are all under attack! Let these idiots in Washington hear you!!!!!!! A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed!!!!!!!!
  10. Only takes about 3 minutes folks, and will be sent to all your local and national leaders.
  11. I think a Ruger 10/22 is a great gun with a million ways to be customized. Good shooter and the cheapest ammo make a lot of fun.

    Hi yas to all

Welcome back! Slow for me but still got the rest of the month.
  14. Time for the silent majority to be heard! http://www.ruger.com/micros/advocacy/
  15. Yes sir I think he did. Fine deer Tom, congratulations again!
  16. Good luck! We do have a few FL members, not sure what part of the state. You guys have a long season down there for sure!

    Ramcat

I am shooting them this year. Only shot one doe, she whirled and stuck her way back, she only went 60 steps, so I can't tell you yet about penetration through rib bones. They fly well, I have had to go back and tighten a couple screws that hold the blades on to keep them from flopping. Seem to be well made and I can't wait to put one in the lungs, hopefully soon. I will tell you one thing, the blades are sharpened on both sides, if you get some be dang sure they are buried deep in your quiver. I have cut myself about three times this year reaching for stuff on the back seat and brushed my hand over the quiver with a head not fully recessed inside.

    blond squirrel

That's pretty cool Tony. Never saw one quite like that. I have seen some really light fox squirrels but no where that blonde
  19. When I was in school we all had guns in deer season in the truck, many in racks in the back window. Everyone had pocket knives and wasn't uncommon for a teacher to ask you to borrow a knife. Shame where society is today. :'(
  20. I'm still not sure I'm on board with the idea. It's still the state government over this, the same folks that make so many other fine decisions. I'm not against the idea but world really like to see how the process would be overseen beforehand.
  21. Looking at sales figures and cc applications lately I think every day has been gun appreciation day! Good stuff, just hate prices are going like they are.
  22. I shot 2 last year and killed 2 does. Very tuff, foolproof expansion, but somewhat bulky profile and blood trails weren't great. All in all a decent expandable but I won't buy another pack.
