  1. Have not had that problem using the app Lynn though it has been reported already from others.
  2. Haha yeah if have to do better than stock Shaun! Never was too imposed with the 5.3 really. I think they should have stuck with the 305/350 small block with tbi as the half ton workhorse.
  3. I sell on Ebay and use Paypal also. Never had an issue, shipped things as far away as Thailand. Did not know you could not create a seller account without Paypal though, that is a surprise. Honestly though it's the best way to go because many folks won't buy without using Paypal. Have you thought about looking at gunbroker Joe?
  4. Well, enjoy it while it lasts! But.... if you just miss it so bad in the coming months, I can crate up my 5.3 and let you rebuild it just for old time sake. lol.
  5. Been grilling a couple months, lots of salmon and I've been hooked on these little 6 oz flat irons too. A few ribeyes and strips and some chicken breasts with a light salad and potato along the way. Anything light and fast to cook is good to me!

    Bison Steaks

Tried the prime rib once. Very good but it was huge and med rare, it got hard to keep going at the end lol
  7. Wish you nothing but the best Shaun! Things get a lot tougher for sure with a family to support. I'm looking at getting out of the automotive parts business myself, and the decision only gets harder to make the more years you invest in something. I'm sure you'll do well, wish you luck bud!
  8. Happy birthday Steve, long time no post!
  9. Happy birthday Tom!!! Hope it was a great day for ya!

    Rock Climbing

I'm jealous. We really don't have much for rocks in MS. However I do know you'd need a winch to get my fat out of shape butt up that rock lol. Lost fifteen pounds though, just fifteen more that need to go.
  11. Tried one a couple years ago out of curiosity and did not like it at all. But everyone is different and our mouths are shaped differently so it may work for you.
  12. Just keep her interested until she matures. Don't worry about grouping as much as just having fun and hitting the target anywhere. As she grows so will her equipment and her grouping will too. My girls just turned thirteen last August and bow hunted solo for the first year. It takes time so don't rush her. Good luck!
  13. Did you leave Ruger? Hows it going? Yes jeldwen is closer, more money and I get to spend more time with my family. I used to work for jeldwen years ago.
  14. About 45 miles to one plant, 60 to the other. Spend 80 percent of my time at the closer one thank goodness.
  15. Yeah Shaun its taking a big toll on our business, but trying to get our foot in the door on eps. I'll be in Michigan Tuesday meeting with the folks that are making them. We do all their service work now, I'm sure you've gotten in several of our gears through SPO, but we haven't had any eps products since we were helping them with the Malibu/g6 column problems back a few years ago. The problem is that I don't think they want to share the propriety info that is needed to rest the units even with dedicated suppliers like us. We'll see. But hey I got an ice fishing trip lined up next week, there's something worth the trip lol.
  16. Folks been saying for years, that a shade tree guy just can't work on vehicles anymore. I've always dismissed this as a load of crap, you just need patience, a scanner, and google to solve a lot of the "technical" problems with today's vehicles, and in many ways I find them easier to work with because of on-board diagnostics. Fast forward to now. Electric power steering is quickly taking over the market and will have all of the half ton pickup market in another year. These EPS units are evolving to where they are learning the vin of their original vehicle and can not be swapped without the OEM proprietary program. In other words someone can give you a free replacement but your still screwed if you're not at a dealer. Also scary how many of these units are in constant contact via satellite and can be shut down at any time. Front axle weights and tie rod loads make it damn near impossible to steer manually when the eps shuts down. sounds like a nightmare if a hacker ever works into a system like this. Just my rant for today.
  17. Hate to hear it Steve, condolences to you and your family.
  18. That's great Al! Sounds like a good show you got to see there for sure. Congratulations! Didn't hear squat on our lease this weekend, maybe it will pick up soon.
  19. Sounds like a great time Steve, I hear ya on the tequila but they sure have some smooth stuff down there! But you can surely have too much of a good thing!

    New Guy

Welcome to the forums! I'm with William on that, even if you can plant on public land I'm not sure why you'd want to? Best to scout and find a place and hunt the food and cover that's already there.
  21. Good deal bud, where you from?
  22. Very sad to see such crap, but with a gangbanger for a daddy she may be better off this way. Sad world we live in.
  23. Great work, that is one fine coat there!
  24. Great story and pic! You've been rolling some dogs, congratulations!
