Looks like you've been busy Ben. Nice bear! Looks like a good rib cooker you got there too.
  2. Spent five days on the river last weekend, trying to work on man cave this weekend. Soffit and fascia work sux!
  3. Stop shooting wussy deer Tom! I like the neck details, though generally I agree you don't see them often on a buck but I've seen a few bowed up you could get a look at muscles close to that. Nice work Cliff, great work on the pheasant too.
  4. You do good work! I never new folks altered forms like that.
  5. Cool video! I've never seen shad that big, but I don't suppose I've ever tried to catch them either. We just net them and use them for bait mostly here.

They are called paddlefish Mike. It's a catfish species I think but they are filter feeders. There's a lot of them around here but they are a protected species and illegal to keep if caught. I had to get this one in the boat to get the line untangled from his bill, but it was barely breathing and sank when I released it. They are good to eat though and the cool part of them is they have no bones. You skin them, gut them, and slice away.

Cats are slow slow. Having a good time on the river though. Caught a big spoon bill but I'm afraid it died. But at least some blues are biting

Terrible situation indeed. Glad you are ok Jason, it's heartbreaking to watch the devastation on the news. Prayers for all you Okies on the way.
  11. Mine was a zebco I'm sure, unless we're counting cane poles They sure ain't what they used to be either!
  12. Wet as wet can be in MS. I'm not in the corn belt of the state but I'm sure the delta is drenched.
  13. I just can't get the thought of Ellie Mae from the Beverly hillbillies out of my mind now lol.
  14. Have a great summer Steve! Be safe and good luck with the house.
  15. You made the right decision Matt, hope the little thing makes a good recovery. Looks like you just need to go out now and find more orphaned animals to get Laura to come back out now. Go find a possum now and call her around 7 just about the time you coincidentally was about to sit down for a nice dinner. Explain how you were an orphan and see what happens.
  16. Voting early and often Ross! Good luck to you!
  17. Yeah we'll give you a pass on clubbing that one Matt! Great pics, looks like you got some work to do now mama lol.
  18. No doubt! Best wishes to you and your family, hope all goes well.
  19. Aww come on Matt, you can smile and take pics and then club them like baby snow seals later, it doesn't have to be an either/or proposition! Besides, who said anything about wiping them out, just think how many more deer you've killed than yotes, now go out and try to achieve some balance!
  20. Used to drive a 79 Chevy stepside, 82 Ford, and also a 72 Ford all with 3 speed columns
  21. I suspect I'll be using a single pin HHA this fall, and need a new rest. Prob another lock-on as well.
