i use the slow cooker for around 8-10 hrs on the low setting , i pour xtra strong coffee in the slow cooker and use what ever seasoning that you like , when it's done use the coffee and make a gravy .

this emission testing i believe is a scam myself , because if i take it to one of their certified shops , i'll easly spend $300.00 on up . one of my old cars would not pass the states emission test and just for them to pour a chemical into the gas tank to clean the hydrocarbons would cost me $500.00 and i said no no no , i ended up selling the car for something different . just last year a buddy of mine took his car to the same place and for the turn of a screw or two it cost him $300.00 for 2 min. of work . not sure on how many counties in Indiana do the emission testing . my 1993 caprice has only120,000 miles on it , when i bought the car it had 90,00 orgional miles on it , garage kept until i bought it , non-smokers owned the car .

i failed emissions once again yesterday , this is test number 4 , the hydrocarbon should be at 80.00 mine was at 87.00 , so yesterday evening the only things left to replace were the o2 sensor , i had a tune up done ( the last one was a year and a half a go ) .i replaced the cap , rotor , plugs and wires , the old cap was worn out as well as the rotor , so hopefully after spending $700.00 just on my emissions i will pass . if not i'm leaving the car there and walking away , because i'm not spending a penny more on the car's emission .

the sad thing is no codes are coming up , the car runs very smooth , smooth idle , has great pick up , at 9:00 am i'm going to call the emission mechanic and listen to what he says , since i've moved to Indiana , I've dropped 5 auto shops because i didn't trust them , they would fix one thing and a week later something else would go bad and it wouldn't have nothing to do with on what was just fixed . so if this guy gives me a song and dance i'll just hang up the phone on him .

well with all that was fixed a NEW catalytic converter , tune up , air cleaner , pvc valve , gas filter , Egr valve , I'm still failing our states emission test . my hydro carbons are still way to high . right now me and my mechanic ( yes he's certified ) are still confused as to why i'm still failing .

update , by fixing code 22 ( throttle position sensor ) it also corrected code 54 . in 2 weeks i'll fix code 24 the speed sensor

Red that's where i found the first two ( 2) answers , the CODE 54 still puzzles me ,there were two ( 2 ) different answers for that one . now for CODE 24 , Husabud , The trans is a 700R4 . but the trans went out and a buddy and his friend went to the auto yard and found one and the only thing that was different was the one ( 1 ) plug in's was different and that controls my speed odm. and millage indicator . then i called my brother and he said CODE 22 might be making CODE 54 show up .

well i did find this out code 22 : throttle position sensor out of adjustment code 24: vehicle speed sensor ---- that's on the transmission i believe code 54 : still puzzles me , it might be a bad injector
