i haven't hunted in 2 yrs , but i love to rabbit hunt . the only thing better then rabbit hunting is eating rabbits . hopely this fall ( i know it's a ways away ) my time out in the field will be way better , it can't get any worse lol .
All i did was zoom in and made the decal bigger , sorry redkneck , couldn't you buy the size that they have and find someone that can blow the decal up to a larger size ??? like a print shop or something like that
now i just read that grouse is done on publicly owned land from 10-01-2011 to 11-11-2011 , I need to call the state to find out . sorry if i gave out false information .
I had a family member that used his farm dog which was a German Shepard to go pheasant & rabbit hunting with him . But he never trained his dog for that purpose . Look at it this way a German Shepard is a working dog with a great nose . I don't see any problems with training the dog .
Our female blk lab didn't care if it was dead or alive ( but thats just my dog ) and those were pheasants not waterfowl , she was just focused on the downed bird that it didn't matter , A few guys used pigeons like you just mentioned , on their dogs . I hope this helps
D'UH it's kinda late to send you a PM , because the day i needed to send you one is over , i got my answer from someone with a empty mail box , thank you anyways .
just kidding , i'll send you one when i remember what i was going to ask you , lol
buy a pair of binoculars for scouting , look for nests , places for food & water , i would try the call since there should be young squirrels . hunt in the early hours( legal shooting hours ) and hunt in the evenings ( legal shooting hours ). I would do my scouting and once you find a spot or spots to hunt then bring your weapon .
