  2. Congrats on your first Alan. Nicely done!
  3. Real nice lookin' yote, congrats and good shot.
  4. Nice trophy, you can have them. Have only seen one here and it was already perfectly dead.:fish:
  5. Got a little sidetracked out there today. Cold as it was, a beautiful day to be in the woods.
  6. Crazy cold....... I'm still thawing out my mustache from earlier.
  7. Good luck on your fox hunt. They're running all over the place here cleaning up all the unrecovered deer from a few weeks ago. Might be a tough time trying to sell them a distress call with so many free meals laying around out there. They don't have to work to hard for to fill their guts just yet.
  8. Looking forward to a safe, sucessfull hunt recap. Good luck to you and kudos to HCO.
  9. Pretty sweet! That'll keep the mileage down on the hiking boots.
  10. Go for it Anthony, it's definately a whole different kinda hunt you'll enjoy. I gave it a go this past season, just glad I tested the water before jumping in with two feet the way you explain far as equiptment goes. I wouldn't have wanted to blame that for my own mistakes. Get a summer of shooting targets then a trial season under your belt and I bet you'll see just how primitive you want to go for starters till you work out some of the wrinkles that come with the transition.
  11. Have a good hunt Mike. Hope you get to drop one before the ball drops to say goodbye to 2009!
  12. Cute little stinker! Looks mischievious:ninja:

    How fast

Used to walk 2.4 mile round trip over the summer in just about 30 minutes. Guess I'm right around 4.5-5 mph. Mostly wooded with some sidewalk mileage. Now hiking speed I slow it down to terrain, conditions and what I'm packing in. Can probably cut my speed in half at least but still move along at a pretty good clip even with a pack on my back and a smoke dangling from my jaw.:smoke:

    Potty Mouths

Could probably use some work on my end as well. If in a comfortable situation it's almost my native language. I get a little tounge tied if I have to watch myself. Sometimes to the point of quiet.:angel2:
  15. For me I guess it's staying sober and more time doing things with family. Just being nicer to folks.
  16. Got any goals set for 2010?
  17. LMBO.....something tells me this kook couldn't find a burried treasure if "X" marked the spot. Stick to the Easter egg hunts in your backyard bud,lol
  18. Nicely done on the deer and pops new job. Hope your new smokepole rewards you 10x's.
  19. Pretty exciting stuff Randy, congrats. Looking forward to tuning you in.

    Snowman

That looks a heck of a lot better than any snowman I ever made growing up. That boy's not long for Okieland!
  21. I've got an HP Deskjet F2110. Funny I was just scanning Christmas pics. I rarely use it other than to make copies. 3 years old, works great for as little as I use it and it's cheap. Got it at wal-mart. Found this link from wal-mart for $34. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=6023292
  22. Very interesting find. Glad you were able to finally put an end to the mystery deer.
  23. What a beauty. Congrats young man!
  24. Have a good one Shawn.:happybday:
