Thanks everyone. And when I took that pic of the hawk I didnt even mean to do that, I was just trying to take a pic of it sitting on the bail and it flew up right as I took the pic.

I have shot some whitetail bucks with rifle but still, nothing compares to a bowkill. This deer is my second bowkill but it just ment so much too me because of the amount of time I put in this bow season. We tried and tried and finally got one, thanks to Bret.

Here are a few pics I have took so far this winter. Havent took much but I thought I would share them. And One of these days I will put pics of all the decent bucks I seen over the hunting season on. Heres a few winter pics. My favourite :yes:

haha! I live In Sask and would be drooling with deer like that in my scope. I seen alot of 140ish deer, but I live in Southern Sask, still alot of good deer, but hard to hunt. Southern Sask doesnt even compare to northern sask. And not monsters?! Those are studs. Congrats to all of you

Yes Im up there with those hours, we have put over 10,00km, on our truck this season. Its been worth it though. And walked ALOT Come up here and get it and i dont see why not:D

killed my buck today. 8 point. nothin big but Im happy. I made a thread in deer hunting.

I got my buck today. My dad drove home from work and said, I just seen a buck out in the firld go grab the gun, we got about 20 mins left to hunt! So I grabbed the gun, grabbed my tags and we threw on orange. We drove behind our yard and got up to about 300yards and I shot and missed, so they ran a bit and stopped so we got back to about 250yards and I shot and he dropped. I hit him far back in the spine, so I took another shot and hit it. We gave him some time and went up. There was ground shrinkage. Just a small buck, but Im happy, its been a hard season. This season I got a bear with my bow, a muley doe with my bow, a muley doe with rifle and this buck with rifle. Its been a tough season but was alot of fun. Now time too kill some coyotes.

Alot of them are good hunters but half of them do all there hunting at an outfitters and get big deer that the outfitters have found. Id say its alot more rewording to get one that you have found and picked out.

And thats exactly it. Look how much rewording it is after the history with this buck. My dream is to shoot a droptine buck. I guess I gotta lot of years of hunting ahead of me to get it done.

Rifle season opened here and I missed an 8 pointer on thursday and had a few chance at a bigger 8 today but just didnt quite give me the best shot or enough time every time. Its only been one weekend but I should have got one by now. Its getting frusterating, we only got 2 weekends left, Im gonna try this weekend for the one I seen today. I want my buck so bad lol. I aint givin up, Im prayin that Ill have one this weekend. Good luck guys

A buck you had pics of lots and perfect shot and a great buck. Dont get much better then that. And ya, Shawn, shes been cold all right. Hasnt even been that bad yet though. Sounds like tomorrows gonna be the worst though, hopefully it gets the rut goin harder though. Some spots down here they are ruttin crazy hard people have said but where I have been they arent ruttin really at all yet.
