Thanks guys. I still am so glad it all worked out. It may just be a little doe, but too me, it means the world. And my dad works at a case IH dealer so we got a few camo hats, they sell alot of them here lol

Well I have been hunting hard since sept 1. It has been tough. I was starting to get frustrated because I hadnt even get a doe, but today that changed. Me and brandon(my brother prairiepredator) were hunting with Bret(sureshot). It had been a slow morning and we decided it was time to go do some walkin for the day. We were walkin the cooly because we had seen some does in it. As we were walkin I seen Bret get down and point so I knew he had seen somethin.there was some does walking towards us. I was hoping they wouldnt walk right towards us because if they would have, I wouldnt have had a broadside shot. But luckily they went beside us and the doe stopped. I drew back and asked bret how far they were but he couldnt get them ranged because there was grass in front of us so he just guessed the yards and said 30. I put the pin on her and let it fly. It looked like I had made a good shot. Bret gave me a high five and said, now theres a dead deer! We got up to watch where she went. We seen her run into some silver willow and I was sure I heard her fall in there. So we followed the blood trail and she had only went about 70 yards and she was done. It was such a relief. And I need to thank Bret. He has been so helpful to me and brandon. He has been takin me out lots after school and taking me and brandon out on the weekends as much as he can. He has also helped me try and blood trail a whitetail and he helped us field dress my deer and skin it. He has been great.

Well its been a long season. I still havent got even a doe. Those muleys are so hard to hunt!

Me and my brotherhave been hunting hard since sept 1st for muleys. I know its oly my second year of hunting, and me and my brother were both fortunet enough to get one on our first year of bowhunting but we have been going out every saturday and sunday and during the week we will go out in the evenings sometimes. All I can say is the mule deer are kickin our buts! I aint gonna give up but its tough! We have seen countless good muley bucks. And had lots of encounters and close calls with them. But we still havent been able to get a doe. We have had lots within range. But they either were in too much brush, not broadside, or they never stayed long enough. And now the deer are spooked like crazy where we hunt so we will have to find a new spot to hunt muleys for the rest of the season. Im just prayin that things will turn around and go our way. I still cant stop thinkin about a big set of muley antlers in my hands.. But wish us luck and I hope it all comes together. When Im done chasin these big ol muleys.(whether its because I tag out, or I shoot one) I will post pics of all the good muleys I seen this season.
