I was out hunting last night, and we seen one buck that Id say is around 175, and we have him on video, we tried to make a stalk but he was 100 yards from a road, and a truck drove by and spooked him.this morning we had got out at about 6:00. We hadnt seen much bucks but we had been seeing alot of does. we were walking and we came up over the hill and my hunting buddy was like "right there!, take him". So i pulled out an arrow but it had mud on the knock so I didnt wanna waste time so I dropped it and the deer stepped out from the bush so I would have had a shot, and I got another arrow knocked and drew back and she started to trott away. If she would have stood there for another 2 seconds. We seen a few other does and my brother(prairiepredator) almost had one but never got a shot. We will be heading back out around 3 but brandon(prairiepredator) will be hunting, I am just gonna be videoing him and he is gonna try for one buck that we have seen almost EVERY night in the same spot. If hes not there we have a few other bucks picked out but we dont have any patterened as good. Well I hope after today Brandon will have some pics and vids of him with a monster to show you guys! Wish us luck guys

Well today bow season opened for sask hunters and Me, brandon and my dad went out after I was done school. We seen some bucks that we have seen lots and have lots of pics of. We tried a stalk on a muley buck but some other deer spotted us and spooked the buck. I almost had a muley doe though. We spotted some deer from the truck so we decided to try and make a stalk. We got out and started making our way towards them, They were in some hills and thought it would make for a good stalk but then they moved back into alfalfa field and we got over the hill and into the field and moved towards where we thought they were, then I spotted them and signaled for my brother to get down, we waited a bit and they looked away, we moved in a little more then they looked so we stopped. Then I thought she had went down the hilkl a bit because I couldnt see her anymore so I got up and started walking then I seen some big muley ears comin over the hill so I got down as quick as I could, but she had spotted me, she was at about 80 yards and started comin to try and catch my wind, she hadnt gave me time to get low enough and I couldnt move and I was right in the open. I was on my knees not makin a single movement and I ranged her at 56 yards then she stopped looked at me then started to walk away, then she stopped and walked back a few yards. She couldnt decide what to do, I knew I wasnt gonna get her to come to 45 yards tho. Then she weased and off she went, she trotted, then we got up and walked over and found out there was about 10 does that we hadnt noticed. No success but still we got out there and had fun.

take advantage of it! stuff is cheaper when your 12! lol. Im 13 but tellppl that Im 12 just to get stuff cheaper . What would this world be if we were all the same, that would be a boring waste of time. Who cares, after ppl get to know you, they will start to think you are older then you really are, just by the way you act. Who cares if u look a little younger, you are one of the nicest guys too talk too

dont worry! I will be sureto post many pics!

Thanks guys. I dont think I will worry about it then

22 hours left! I hope to have some exciting stories for u guys soon!

Well what im thinking. Is not folding the legs out so that Its like a unipod, and if needed I can fold it out and use it as a tri-pod. And It isnt shiney but I am just worried about them seeing it when we are moving. Do u think there is something camo that I can make to slide over that? and thanks for all the help so far guys!
-
idk but id say 137
-
Then I wouldnt be able to extend it or anything tho. I am thinking about making something that I can slide over top on it thats camo?

I know this isnt the room for this but I know I will get more replys in here because its urgent. Hunting season starts in almost 1 day and I am going to be videoing alot of my brothers hunts when Im not hunting. I will be using a tri-pod because with our camera it is almost impossible to stay steady wuth because it is so light. Im gonna be doing spot and stalk hunting and am worried about the deer seeing the tri-pod because it is black. Is this something that I should be worrying about or not?Keep in mind, this will be spot and stalk hunting. Any imput would be greatly apprectaited!!!!!

Well guys, shes almost here. Bowhunting season starts for me on Sept 1st. I cant wait to try and get a big ol muley with my bow. I got the broadheads tuned and have been doing alot of scouting and seeing alot of shooter muleys. We have got enough permission for this year. Good luck to Bret(sureshot), Brandon(prairiepredator), and Lane(wildguy), they start on sept 1st as well. And good luck to all of you when your season starts! and get out there and have fun!
-
Thanks. You too Dakota. Im more excited for mule deer. The whitetail have started to change there patterns so its gonna be hard to get a buck with my bow at the blind. But I cant wait to get out there and start walkin those hills and makin stalks on them big ol muleys. It would be mydream to get one of those bad boys in velvet. There is one muley I have pics of with my SLR, he has nice dark antlers, and hes around 160. I hope to put an arrow threw him. Good luck to you guys and I will keep u updated on how its going

I feel sorry for u guys! :Dyou guys have to wait way too long!! In Sask our bow season starts on sept 1st. 2 days 18 hours and 20 mins! I can not wait! Good luck to all u guys!

As lots of you know I have been wanting to get into photography kinda and wanting a DSLR. I had it narrowed down to either a Nikon D300, Nikon D5000 or a Canon EOS Rebel XS. I decided to go with a the Canon EOS Rebel XS, it was a good price and it came with a 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm. I have been foolin around with it, and it is fairly easy to use. And that is what I heard, ppl said they are easier to use then the Nikons. I will try to put a few pics on tomorrow after I get a few better ones.
