3. 7029Shot in Central PA, 5 beards 32in total! You can see 4 in the pic, the 5th beard is only 1.5in and doesn't stick out past his feathers.
4. Just curious if anyone on here was adding people to their teams for this coming deer season. I havent been on here in a while and saw last season teams were estabilished. Any info would be helpful thanks.
5. I've always shot compounds growing up. I started bowfishing and liked the instinctive shooting involved in that sport. I purchaced a recurve and bought a instinctive dvd to refine my shooting I am comfortable out 20 yds with a kill shot. 25 is probly my limit with the recurve. I've killed many animals with the compound and took the recurve out hunting for the first time last spring chasing turkeys. I shot a tom @ 15 yds with it and now I'm hooked. Next deer season I see the recurve making many trips into the deer woods! Its a rush.
6. Congrats man, bowhunting is a real challenge getting game with in a comfortable shooting rage, and a predator at the nice job. Keep at it and you'll soon be filling doe tags as well as your buck tags my friend.
7. I'm glad you have your son out there, and glad he connected on a deer, let alone a nice buck! I think you have a hunting partner for life buddy nice job guys!

15. These are good looking arrows!
16. Yeah a lot of people were shocked to see that he came off public land. What I've found here in Central PA is there is so much land I just go way back, away from what I've seen so far little bowhunting pressure (compared to MI where I just moved from) I've found lots of very good looking spots deer movement was hit or miss been a lot of rainy windy days this year that didn't help. It's nice though I get the chance to hunt every morning no evenings though due to work. 2 months of scouting paid off and a good plan came together!
17. Congrats on the good looking buck hes a good one! Also good looking bow as well.
18. Yeah there is something magical about picking up a bow and heading into the woods. I very rarely pick up a gun to hunt deer anymore. Just doesn't get me excited, but a bow on the other hand the reward is that much sweeter when you hang a perfect stand or place a groundblind in a perfect spot. Get the wind right, and watch all your practice pay off when you make a good shot. Congrats, just wait until that buck comes into bow range it's an awesome feeling!
19. Congrats, sorry about the meat. You'll have to go out this winter and do a little predator control!!!
20. Hey I'm fairly new to this site, how do you get to the classifides section? I would gladly take them off your hands.
21. I filled my tag on 10/26/09 and called him right in with the horns and grunt call. My buddies have been sitting in the woods and seeing lots of GOOD bucks chasing does. Good luck to all you PA hunters go get em before the woods is full of orange.
22. I had a complete pass through on this older mountian buck, it blew through both shoulders. I'm shooting about 62lbs.
