way to let the rage eat!
-
Thank you! Was starting to get some negative posts. He sent me some tasteful ones as well, but your right this was just to show what the rage is capable of.
-
I'm sorry if it affends some people, that wasn't my intention when posting those pictures at all. . . I would never want to turn anyone off to hunting. I just thought that some people that shoot this product would be interested in seeing the pictures.
-
This is very true I couldn't agree more. I just thought I'd post those pictures because I've never seen anything like that before.
-
I guess theres some truth to that!
-
This is true any broadhead that goes through both lungs will do the job but disrespectful . . . I don't know about that I call those entrance and exit hole "Very Ethical" Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though, thats just mine.
-
Yeah I use them to, Can't wait to shoot a buck with them!
-
Nice shot placement, perfect 12 ring on a little target!
-
I think thats going to get a lot of people excited!!! Thats the biggest exit I've ever seen from any weapon let alone a bow!

Here is some pictures my buddy sent me. He said it was a quartering away shot and he dropped the arrow right down her opposite leg. His 3 1/2 yr old daughter tracked the deer down the blood trail was so big. I guess it's true the Rage Broadheads do open game like a zipper! Sorry I didn't have a camera with me this morning, but a few turkeys roosted 40 yds from my stand. They flew down and were milling around purring and putting for a while when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye two coyotes were sneeking in and didn't make a sound. Either my scent control is working or they were so fixed on these turkeys they didn't care. They came from directly down wind. The first one stopped @ 2yds and I let the RAGE eat. The second one just stood there I scrambled to nock another arrow and drew on the second one he moved into some thick brush and I couldn't pull off a shot. I sucked on the back of my hand after he went off and made some squeeks. He circled down wind and stood there about 40yds looking but never came any closer at least I got one of em!

Thats cool, good scent control lol!!!

E-mail sent, in the market for a new bow as well. -
Shot a deer with the 2 blade that was quartering away from me it litteraly did what the commercial says "opens game like a zipper" The enterance hole was so big I could stick my fist in it. Sorry I don't have the picture anymore but I absolutely love these broadheads they do some Major Damage to say the least!

This a.m. I herd two bucks sparing, it was short not to violent at all just tickeling the tines a bit and they let out a few grunts. It sounded to be only about 40 yds away it was on the other side of some very thick brush I didn't get a look at either of them. Hopefully with this cooler weather some bigger bucks will show themselves during daylight hrs.

Ouch . . . thats crazy

I might jump on your boat . . .kinda. . . Well at least a lot more pre rut activity. I think the does will still come into estrus at their usuall time but the buck activity has been earlier than i've seen in the past. Noticed the scrape and rub activity about doubled from seasons in the past. I'm guessing it's from the colder weather. Seen smaller bucks bumping does and making scrapes in the first week of the season. Still haven't seen any "Shooters" yet but all this early buck activity has me excited to say the least.

I didn't mean to offend you man . . . If you didn't know weekend worriors is a term hunters use to describe the HUNTERS who you only encounter on the weekend who have the mind set if it's brown it's down. Or usually come walking in at about 7:30 or 8:00 am. after it's been light for an hour walking to their stand. If I offended you I'm sorry wasn't ment to be like that.

I'm not knocking scent loc don't get me wrong. My brother is a very good archery hunter and fills his two buck tags and doe tag in Mi every yr. He is a heavy smoker and uses his cig. to watch the wind. He sets up two stands in each set up and will climb down if the wind switches and move to the other one mid hunt. It might not sound very effective moving mid hunt but his wall of fame is proof enough for me. Makes me sick when I go through all the trouble of washing spraying down ect. ect. ect. and he does spray down but smokes while in the tree and he puts two good ones down every yr! Long story short hunt the wind saves you in the long run.

My favorite hunting set up is over an active scrape. I usually find a scrape in an area around good trails then (Spruce it up) I have tried a number of different products and had success. Last season I used Active Scrape but it was more towards the rut. Killed two bucks with my bow in MI. Just moved to PA and I found three new scrapes by my stand two days ago I opened up the scrapes up a little bit and put out some Tinks Power Scrape two days ago. Didn't hunt yesterday due to a front with 20-35mph winds all day. But I will let you know how it works out!
