Thanks Gents! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

I had a chance to get out on opening day of rifle in Oklahoma and watched this guy chase does around all morning from about 500+ yards. Decided to slip in a little closer that evening and he came back through with the same group of does and stopped broadside at about 80 yards. The Remington did its job and he made it about 10 yards before tipping over.

I have used both buck bombs with limited success, not sure that they helped or hurt the hunt. I mainly use them sparingly and more to cover up my scent than to attract. After the first can only squirted about half the contents, I don't use them all at once any more and only buy it when they are on sale.

The Images on my cameras are showing that things are picking up here in OK, and I am planning on being in the tree bright and early tomorrow morning! Hopefully the big boys will be out and about.

We can only hope some of these "celebrities" follow-through on their empty threats of leaving the country.

I got a decent Rio here in OK on a pretty short hunt. We pulled up, called a little from the truck, and the gobbles started about 75 yards away. The bird was working the edge of a wheat field, so I snuck around to the middle of the field and slipped a hen out in front.... took about 10 minutes for him to work his way to me, but came straight to the decoy. Looking forward to enjoying the spoils of the hunt this weekend when we get the smoker out. Good Luck to everyone else!!

Congrats! Our season opens today, but with the birth of my second son only a few days behind me, it may be this weekend before I can slip away!!

I passed a nice 10 pointer on opening day of muzzleloader here in OK.... hoping that the bigger buck follows that same path. The next few hunts were loaded with does, fawns, and small bucks but nothing with any size has come thru in a couple weeks. This cool weather coming and rain should start moving some of the bigger guys around. Good Luck to everyone and hopefully we will have some nice ones on the ground as November starts!

Our season starts this weekend and there should be a little cool weather moving in..... I'm going to try and be in the stand on Saturday if I can get out of work!

I have never tried it for deer, but have known several buddies who use it as a part of their hog bait!

I added a Mojo Mallard Machine at the end of the season, only got out once in the ice, but it did an excellent job of cleaning out a hole! Had several birds trying to land on top of it at first light.
