I agree w/ Rhino. I would assume that most people taking a youth duck hunting are in fact a hunter themselves and will probably already have the necessary license, but it shouldn't be required if they are not allowed to hunt.

I am ready to go, but still have over a month before the season opens.... Hopefully the weather cooperates here in OK and we start seeing some warmer temps in the next couple weeks.

Deer season is over here! Not sure if anyone else still has any time left, but I feel pretty confident in our score!! Great Job!! Congrats to everyone that got a deer!

Good Luck w/ both!! This seems to be the time of year where hunting and personal collide!!! I put the deer stuff up for a little bit and have been duck hunting with quite a bit of success, limiting out on all but 1 trip.

I would appreciate the call just for peace of mind if it were a deer that I had shot at....

I used a buck bomb on my last hunt, more as a cover scent, and I had several deer circling my stand. I don't know if it brought them in, but it sure did help distract them from my scent. I use several scent control products, but IMO every little bit helps.

Finally got a shot at a nice buck with the bow.... not the best shot I have made, but it got the job done!!

It looks like we are set for an arctic blast starting next Tuesday. It is supposed to bring the temps down to the low 40s during the day and 20's at night. Things have been pretty slow as far as hunting goes, but that should really give them a wake up call!
