Sorry for the absence lately, unfortunately nothing to report from down here. I haven’t been able to make it to my land since november due to the baby and work. We moved to the Northwest Arkansas last winter so I’m still getting used to hunting what little public land is here. There is WAY more pressure here than what I’m used to! Bow season runs until the end of February here and I’ve got some vacation time coming up so I’ll be hunting pretty hard that week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Muzzleloader opens in the morning here in Arkansas. We have a cold front coming in tonight so hopefully they will be moving good. I’ve only got a couple decent 8 points on camera so far on the new place so hopefully something comes together. Extra chances to fill tags are always great, especially that time of season! Sorry for the lack of posts everyone, I can't get the App to work. I put a high lung shot on a big 8 point a week before rifle season. I didn't get a pass through and a Swacker don't give you much of an entrance wound unfortunately. We tracked him across 2 properties before the blood dried up. Alright! Bow season opens up Thursday here in MO.

I went out on opening morning and got 7. I figured I would give it a try, but I haven't been able to find an improved cylinder choke for my mossberg 835 so the turkey choke makes things interesting!

Anyone doing any dove hunting this year?

Hey everybody. It's been a while since I've been on the forums. Kind surprised I remembered my password! Hope everyone is doing fine, glad to be back!

Gun Season opens in the morning. Man, am I behind. I haven't had time to re-sight my 30-06 in. I shot it a few times a week ago and my rail came loose. Might take the muzzleloader out or use the wifes 30-30.

Awesome buck MCH. Man that thing is tall! Their starting to chase here in MO. I had a nice buck come in behind me but he wouldn't stop to give me a shot, then had a four point chase a doe about 60 yards in front of me.

Way to go MCH!
