Yeah I know its too early, but I've had him on milk replacer from a bottle since I got him. He keeps me up at night, that's for sure. Its a lot of work but acts like a perfectly healthy pup.

Hey everybody, long time no see! I lost my password in the upgrade so I just didn't fool with it for a little bit. I recently received a Chocolate Lab pup but he is only four weeks old. The mom weened the pups too early so the owner needed them gone. Does anyone have any experience training dogs for shed hunting or tracking wounded deer? How long should I wait until I start training him? Thanks guys.

I haven't seen anything here but jakes and hens. I see a bunch of nice toms in the afternoon though but you can't hunt after 1 pm in MO. I started a new job and I don't get off until 1 am so it sucks waking up, and I have finals all week so I don't know how much hunting I got left this season.

How everyone doing? Season opens next saturday in Arkansas so I will be down there come **** or high water! The monday after that is when season opens in Missouri. How many more tags you got 3seasons? You're gonna be tagged out by the time we all get to start lol.

Yep, still got over a month here in MO too. I hate how MO starts the season on a monday but AR starts on the on the saturday before so I might head down that way to start the season.

If you have just started shooting then it is most likely you. All you have to do is keep practicing and you will get better at it. Maybe have someone watch you to see what your doing wrong, you could be jerking the trigger or your grip may be wrong.

Ugh, hated watching that. I can understand shooting in the air or at the ground but not at the moose, especially when its walking away. I wouldn't have stuck around after he first charged though, I would come back for the snowmobile later, with a new set of underwear lol.

I would put one in between the bedding area and the feeding area. Be careful though, because if you hang a stand there, you don't want a west wind. Just make sure you know what winds you can hunt the stand in. Is that a house to the left? Also, is that a road running south to the right of it? I would park by the house, come up from there to my stand on the southside of the trail. That way, a north wind would be perfect and you don't get too close to where the deer will be walking.
