That's a shame. Gonna try and go tomorrow afternoon. I have to attend a funeral so not sure if I will have time. The rut should be coming in a couple weeks here so hopefully I will be seeing some better action. Good luck guys!

Looked funny and shot funny! lol

We put a side mount scope on our 30-30 when I was little so I could hunt with it. Its hard to look through the scope when your left handed and the scope is on the left side of the gun!

I feel your pain. My favorite shop closed its archery dept. a few months ago. It was the only place more at least a hundred miles that had indoor shoots and an indoor range.

Finally saw some bucks......as I was halfway down the ladder. Had a doe and a button buck in the food plot for about 45 minutes and I decided to climb down after they left. Should have waited 5 more minutes cuz halfway down the tree I had 3 bucks walk in. One stayed in the plot for a few minutes but the others didn't hang around too long.

At least your seeing bucks on stand MCH. Gonna try to head out in the morning .

We gotta wait till Dec here in Mo. Had the chance to apply for a Managed Muzzleloader hunt this month but decided to apply for the bowhunt in Dec. Good luck Tominator!

Haven't noticed the October Lull here yet, but I ain't been out that much the past week. Went out once and noticed a few new scrapes. Gonna put a camera over some and hopefully get some better buck on camera.

Zizzer59 Team 2 Doe

Good afternoon from the Ozarks! We had a low of 45 this morning so I headed out for my first morning hunt of this season. I had good activity from daylight, and was able to harvest a nice doe from about 13 yards. I'm certainly seeing more deer than the past few years but I only have a handful of pics of a borderline shooter 8 point. Oh well, I got some meat in the freezer so I'm happy! Plus we got 5 more points!

MCH, what town would it be close to? I'm only about 3 hours from the Oklahoma state line.

I think I'm gonna try my hand at goose hunting this year. Got any tips?

Wow, 70's here in the Ozarks and I thought that was cool lol

I've been getting close to getting some does the past few nights. Hope to put some points on the board tonight. The weather has been great so far this season, I don't think I've hunted in temps above 65 yet. I think we got a good shot this year, I'm hoping to be on the winning team two years in a row! Were off to a great start!

Whats up guys? I'm pumped, season opened yesterday here in MO. I got a good feeling about this season. Nice buck man! Thats a shame the wolves got to it though. Antler Addiction is fine by me.

I'm gonna be out wednesday putting in a couple small plots and hanging some cameras.

I use a cheap $20 Allen caliper wrist release that's 4 years old and I have no complaints!

Never done one before, but I watch enough football so count me in.
