Last November I was looking for a deer my little brother shot at. I was looking for blood and ended up finding a 4 point shed. It was all chewed up but it is the only shed I've ever found. I'm gonna go out and try this month.

The one I found was in Mossy Oak.

I think I'm going to get it then. Wal-Mart has them for $380. I need a new turkey gun. I don't know how much longer my old one will hold up.

Rhino, I'll second that about the gobble call. They come running to it down here in south MO. My problem is that I can call them up all day long, but they hang up right before they step out. I might try using a jake decoy, all I use now are hen decoys. Last year I had a gobbler about 30 yards away from me over a hill, and it seemed like he was just about to come over when it started pouring down rain. He shut up and after about 15 minutes I snuck up to the top of the hill and he was gone.

I shoot fixed blades so I'm a little confused. How do these expand if the blades are backwards before deployment? Wouldn't they just go back to the pre-deployment position when they try to enter a deer?

They respond pretty good down here in MO for me. I never used the Black Rack but I got some success from rattle bags. Maybe if I could ever find sheds then I could use those, but until then its the bag for me. A few years ago, I was rattling and nothing was going on so I sat for a few minutes until I heard a gunshot a couple hundred yards from me. The guy on the neighbors place shot a nice 8 that he said came running through towards me. Some people get all the luck.....

Well looks like this will be the first super bowl I will miss since the Patriots and Eagles. I don't have tv at my house and I'm snowed in so I can't get to my dads. Hopefully Facebook or you guys will keep me posted lol

I did my first outdoor tournament last sunday and shot a 204 on twenty-five targets. I shot bowhunter novice and the farthest distance was 30 yards. I shot an indoor today with 30 targets and shot 260 even with a miss because I hit a tree! I'm slowly getting better.
