Brand new scope and I used the mounts that came with the scope. I had to get a rail to mount it to the gun and the way it was designed they had to be aligned, and yes they were tight. A few minutes before it happened, a guy came up to me and said that he had the same gun as me and used the same scope but the recoil of the gun would keep the scope from staying sighted in.

Scope Buster It was just a Tasco. But I've never had a problem with the brand even though its from Walmart. I have one on my .270 it's been on there since my dad got the gun in the 80's.

Took my 30-06 to the range today after I put a scope on it. After a few shots, I heard something crack, so I looked through the scope and the crosshairs were turned to the left and at the bottom of the scope. It appears my gun was too MAN for the scope lol. Anyone ever had this happen?

Finally You and me both lol. I had a squirrel hanger to skin em with but I lost it.

IQ Bow Sights Yeah, that way I would have a sight that is more powerful than my bow lol

Anyone ever used the IQ sights? My Trophy Ridge sights are ok but the level came unglued the other day and I think I glued it back crooked lol. I was planning on switching sights at the end of the season so has anyone had experience with them?

Most of the time I paint my face, even though my dad makes fun of me for it. I can't wearing a face mask, you ever tried to spit with one of those things on? lol But I hate itching my face and getting my finger covered in paint. Usually when it starts getting cold I'll switch to the mask though.

I was wondering that same thing brown. 9/10 times I am out by myself with no one around to take a pic of me and the deer and I usually skin the deer out on the property I hunt so I don't have to do it in town. I guess we can take selfies with the deer and hold our face by the deers face and snap a quick pic lol

Black Bear Well I'll be going out in the morning. Mostly deer hunting but if a bear goes strolling by he's down!

Wow! What do you do after you shoot one? Do you gut it just like a deer?

Black Bear I'm hunting down in Arkansas some this year and bear season is October 1 through November31 so I figured I might as well try to tag one while I'm deer hunting. Is the concept the same as deer hunting? What did you guys use as bait?

Anyone on here ever hunt black bear?

Team 8 - Red Arrow Good luck to you as well. Lets get on the board soon and show everyone that the Red Arrows mean business! Went out yesterday and scouted out a WMA in north Arkansas. Found a scrape and a rub, trails are still hard to see cuz it's so green though. Season opens down there Saturday but won't hunt down there until next Wednesday. Hopefully going out in the morning if I can wake up!

Taking the week off since I had 3 nice bucks bust me when I got out of the stand the other day. Talk about bad luck. Gonna go look at some public land in Arkansas tomorrow.

That's a good point about the pro-hunting legislature, and I don't mind hunting with a crossbow, but I like what MO is doing with adding the Alternative Weapon season. We are allowed to use a muzzleloader, pistol, air rifle, crossbow, bow, or atlatl. Especially since my muzzleloader broke a couple of years ago!
