Re: Sight pin size... All pins on my sight are .019. My 20 yd is yellow, 30 green, and 40 is red. I can see the yellow with the least light. Your results may vary.

Gordon lays the bumper on Hamlin and pushes him out for 2nd and quickly charges right up the field to JJ and then runs 30-40 laps on JJ's rear? He should have layed the bumper to JJ just like he did to everyone else. Congrats Jeffy, that's the downside of team racing. I guess he had to add a little emotion to make things seem real...

Re: Your Best Shot? My best shot ended up (after 15 years so far) being my 1st bow-kill deer in 1992. It was a velvet spike at 28 yards quartering away. The heart had been pinwheeled by a Muzzy 100 grain 3-blade. The buck ran 40 yards and nose-dived into the ground dead.

Re: Engine question 25 HP vs 50? Go with 50 HP. There is no mixing oil on the 50 horse either. It's called "oil injection". Just throw in a qt of TC-III (or whatever it calls for)occasionally and the engine will do the mixing. A quart lasts several trips on my 40 horse Merc. 25 vs 50 is a big gap.

Re: Flexible time... I have the option to. But I'd rather work from 6:00 A.M. - 3:30 fixed for 8 days, 6-2:30 for 1 day and have every other Friday off. It's called 9/80. And when we have the Mon. off for a holiday, most times I have a 4 day w/e.

Re: Electric dryer taking too long to dry clothes Did you pull out the schematic and find and check the fuses? Mine went bad and I traced it to a $11 fuse. Just put an ohmmeter on them and check for resistance (or lack of).

Re: blurry?????question You'll find most will say focus on the target. But I focus on the pin. It's easier for me to focus on something moving instead of something stationary. But that's me. What works for me may not work for you. That's archery. And no one can say there is only ONE way to shoot an arrow accurately. It's a mental game that you have to be confident in. Confidence is key. And I use two eyes (less facial strain)

Re: How should I set my pins? Sight your bow at 20. Then use that same pin at 10 and 15 yards. If it's really close, use the top pin at 20. Then 30 and 40.

Re: Paris, TX ASA Pro/Am Update Thread I hope y'all have a good time. That's what it's all about. I use to go to ASA's, but rarely found a travel partner and usually went by myself. That got old and now I go fishing on the lake. I ain't shot the bow more than once since Oct 06. Maybe someday I'll get back into it. Take alot of pics. You'll appreciate the effort in a few years.

But if they are set on getting married, doing it before they arrive should make it better.
