  1. Best kind of yote. Cool you got one down already on first set and broke in the new rifle, congratulations. I really need to get after them here, killed one back in November out the back door, have not been out calling yet. Getting loads of pics on trail cams.
  2. Welcome to the forums. I don't do any waterfowling so no help there, but would seem you could find a more affordable call for a beginner than what you linked. I know the taxidermist we used for years also makes custom calls and many for less than that.
  3. Sweet setup Shaun, looks like you got it dialed in. Man that scope was close with those rings, your front cap looks pretty tight. Guess I missed that you got the rifle with a timney trigger. Highest end trigger on any of my rifles is a jp.
  4. Welcome to the forums. Not sure about the mac software, but being that the raw images should be a jpg format from the camera, wouldn't any imaging software work? Supposedly according to google you can double click the file and open in any browser. Far as a reader, there are multi readers to usb, would think there are similar type cables available to go from the memory card to your phone or ipad.
  5. Thanks for sharing the story Pat, was fun following along your hunts in this thread, and congratulations again on the great season. Did your father end up taking a buck?
  6. Hopefully he sticks around and we get more pics. Dunno if the above pic is just a result of the ground but he sure looks hunched up in the mid section like he is hurting.
  7. Yep, always enjoy reading other's stories. I may be an oddball though because I like to share my stories for those interested and don't mind taking the time to write them. Unfortunately not too many these days here seem to take the time to read and reply.
  8. That's cool Lewis. Always nice to see a group and communities come together to help others.
  9. Opinions on this 8. Think he is a 3.5 with great potential. He first showed up on cams here around the 13th and got this daylight sequence where he appears hunched in the last 2 pics and looks pretty thin.
  10. Pretty sure some here contributed to the wounded warrior effort. Some of that above I was aware of but not all of it. Probably a pattern that was used across other media platforms as well.
  11. Sad reality. The sheeples are much easier to herd when they are unarmed. Gonna be interesting to see how things play out in VA, been a lot of speculation. Glad the protest went well, just goes to show law abiding gun owners are civil and peaceful minded. Honestly surprised the dems did not have paid people there to attempt to provoke.
  12. No problem, and thank you for prayers. Only found one Corey. Got rid of it.
  13. Glad to hear you will stick around Anthony. That thread is gone. I will try to look through your mentions of said person. And I can tell you I do not disagree with your assessment whatsoever. Our second daughter Nicole is supposed to be getting married in October, her fiancee is off at his ait training to be a combat medic in the TN natl guard. Decent kid, hope he does not get sent to the middle east, but he knows what he signed up for. Christina our oldest and her husband are doing well, they just bought their first house about 30 minutes from us, our granddaughter will be a year old in April. Dealing with some pretty serious health issues myself, cardiologist says we will be talking surgery in the next year or so. Not a matter of if, but when my valve and aortic root aneurysm are going to be bad enough to meet criteria to be replaced. Not something I am looking forward to. Just had another echo yesterday, waiting for results.
  14. Sure hate to see you leave. I can delete that thread for you Anthony, not going to go into any negatives in the open forum, but I get it. For an account deletion you probably should contact Scott directly.

    Cool pic

Kinda looks like an ant race. lol.
  16. You have had a great season. Congratulations on another very nice buck.
  17. Clip ended with a nice buck walking. Did you kill him? Kinda assuming so if your Indiana season was open until the end of the month.

    CWD here

Got confirmation back last week that the buck I killed had no cwd detected. Last I checked TN did add two more counties to the cwd positive zone, but those were in the high risk zones, has not been any closer confirmed cases to us.
  19. Round em up Don. Been tossing around the idea of adding one of these https://www.kakindustry.com/magnum/kak-300-wsm-complete-19-inch-barrel-magnum-upper. Might be a fun otpg approved addition. Too bad things have gone the way they have. I checked in over at the tndeer forums a while back to see how things were going with the cwd testing, that place is still kicking much like this site was back in the day. Kind of goes against the idea that facebook ruined this place. lol. Rocket fuel would probably prematurely melt the marshmallows. ?
  20. Not looking too good for the pack Martin. Niner's look to have this one pretty well under control.
  21. Hmmm, reckon some of them otpg fellars picked up sipping cocoa with marshmallows, may be ashamed to come back around.
  22. Even if it were real, do we honestly have enough control to make enough impact to reverse something that is not even proven. Seriously do the leftists really believe China is going to stop their pollution...... Best as I recall the green folks were spewing that it was 12 years to the end on the current path if we did not act right then. We are what 18 months or more into that now. When are the cataclysmic events supposed to start. Think the bigger problem is overpopulation and destruction of forests. But that is another topic. The end will be when God decides, not before then.
